jumbo, 10 Dec 2008I just bought my new Nokia 5610 last nov 27 2008 and i real... moreyah the original company is finland, but here in asia, the distributor is china, alll fones here almost made in china, like sony too....i think finland company is good in production......unfortunately in china.....

Hi Alcon in this mobile 5610 in the Nokia site there is a specification said it have WLAN but here in this gsmarena.com site it doesn't have WLAN!!!
Can any one tell me either it have WLAN or not please.

I had the Nokia 5610 for about 4 days... I decided to try out the Samsung Gravity, mostly just because of the qwerty feature. I'm missing the music features, camera functionality and overall layout of operation from the 5610.
Does anyone have experience with both of these phones?
Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I have a few more days to make my decision, before I'm locked into one phone or the other. Please assist.

The video type is either mp4 or 3gp. mp4 is better and there are a lot of programs that will convert to mp4. I have not been able to get the nokia video convertor app to work but I use dvd videosoft free 3gp convertor. It actually does both 3gp and mp4. I recomend mobile mp4 high quality. It works well with this phone.

for problems on restarting just try this:
1)Removed applications except world time and games except sudoku (free memory of phone is now 6 mb )
2) Entered *#7780# while my memory card was not in the phone and confirmed by entering security code.(default should be 12345 or similar). This resets your phones preferences to factory settings but doesnt affect your data in phone memory.
3) inserted memory card and formatted it.
4) connected to the phone by usb with data transfer mode and created directories for different data types like music, video, images
5) renamed the mp3 files in my hard disk (39 files yet) as there are no special characters and numbers in file name (of course except the mp3 extension itself). Also scanned them with Avira Antivirus but found nothig.
6) disconnected phone and unpluged after clicking the green icon on taskbar near the clock
7) refreshed music library and it didnt lock and restart this time
i have been using music player since and there is no problem now. and i hope there wont be again.

i got that phone 6 month ago !! and its great until now i had no problems at all !! concerning that the phone hangs and re-opens when u listen to the music player this problem is solved when you update the music library from the options in the phone this step should be done b u or the will have to do it automatically by hanging and re-opening but all in all the phone is just great,it also can open ebuddy normally SO buy it it's great :D
