I have had d DAMN phone for less than 3months and the slide thingy is broken, is there a way i can replace it? It is a contract phone:-(

I have had d fone for less than 3 months and it freezes and blackouts all d time!! really hate it!! WORST CHOICE OF MY LIFE

yea its a "handle with care" phone...
looks and feels good in the hand. display is top notch! but a finger print magnet and the dedicated music or radio slider key feels a bit flimsy. better to use a shortcut to activate music player. battery is ok, not the best but definitely better than average... no other drawbacks as far as i've seen...

i would not really reacommend the purchase of this phone. it wears off easily and blacks out frequently.

before this im using nokia 2760
after tht im suing my wife's phone SE k700c
just bought ths phone a few mnth back
so what i can advice to u all just handle ths phone with alot of care
smts it could be kinns sensative
despite it has been fallin dwon couple of times
yet again it still woking properly
mybe around next year i will change my phone. E series for a change?

i have had this phone all year so far and let me tell anyone interseted in buying this phone take care because some sim cards are not compatible with this phone, this phone has been known to freeze often and this phone will cost u atleast $500 in repairs.these problems have not only occured to me! please take the above into consideration before buying this phone.

its crap phone.the piece freezes while you open the video's.the small switch that works as the slider to go to the music player and the radio can break easily.so its a total f up.

well..my experience with Nokia 5610 has been the worst..Have got the phone replaced twice already and one that i got for the third time also has all the same problems- the screen fades evry now and then, the setting change on their own etc.I'm thouroughly dissatisfied with it..Seems like the biggest mistake of my life!

I just bought this phone but battery is not last for long. i need to charge nearly every day even i dont use it much as my old N72 nokia phone.Has anyone had such a problem with battery like me?

Anonymous, 20 Nov 2008been using this phone for 3 days... the black and blue vers... moreand i forgot to mention. nokia provides a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter wid the phone. so wont b a problem to connect ur fav 3.5mm jack to this phone

been using this phone for 3 days... the black and blue version. n so far i noticed wid moderate usage of a couple of hours of music playback on speaker, lots of fidgetting wid the settings and customisations, about a 100 msgs per day and about 10 calls per day the battery lasted for about 2 days.... a gr8 improvement over my previous sony ericsson w610i which used to die after 18-20 hrs or so for similar usage.
music quality is top class! i personally feel its a lot better than the SE walkman phone i had. but the in ear headphone of SE were a different story. speaker volume output one the 5610 is higher than the SE w610i and the headphones provided are almost comparable to those of the SE normal headphones... hope nokia releases in ear headphones wid the 5610...
on the first day the screen went blank and restarted after a few seconds for about 4 times but i realised tht only happens wen the battery is low. never faced any problem ever since my first recharge...
all in all very good lookin phone. will definitely satisfy those who don care much for the silver and shiny metal phones... performs very well. if i face any problems i'll post it here for sure...
will recommend this to any1 who wants a good lookin slider phone wid awesome music quality. i wasnt impressed wid the cam (but mayb thts becoz i own a sony cybershot 7.2 MP digicam :-) ) but its ok...
and then the best feature i loved is nokia's 16 million color display. no other manufacturer i have seen come even close to the clarity and beauty of a nokia 16M display... its jus awesome...

I need your help... I went thro... moreHi. I did the same, updated phone software and luckily I was successful. I just followed the instructions from the Nokia website. Downloaded phone software updater, backed up my files... Now my phone works better, no longer freezes. Retry the update. If it doesn't work, bring your unit to a Nokia service center.
BTW I love this phone, my dream phone actually.
Great music quality, fantastic camera, awesome display, DVD-quality videos, so easy to use, looks oh-so-cool in blue. My phone leaves some Nseries models in the dust.
