i rili wanted 2 buy this phone....bt after reading ol dis comment i dnt think i will spend my money buying dis phone now....wat a bad luck....m rili dissapointed...:-( :-( :-( :-( do something about it NOKIA

i purchased it in month of april at the start it had problems of restart bt i send it to the care centre and now it is working extremely fine.The music quality is extremely good though its output sound is not good but headset sound is grt.Also the battery is good.The camera picture quality is also good.the looks are awesome especially in red colour.

To all who plan to buy 5610(firmware version v8.30)...........
I have been using this phone for the past 1 yr.
Goods..........
*Music quality is good(cant say great)
*Picture/video quality are outstanding when all options set to its maximum.+ autofocus
*Battery life also good, mine stays upto 2 days easily(playing music upto 5 hrs,calls upto 1 hr )
*Nice look
Bads............
*The phone restarts/stucks while hearing music or during menu operations(May be due to refreshing of the playlist while the phone starts up, and we cant disable this.)
*The slider scratches the keypad.
*The front body plastic is absolutely a finger print magnet
*The music slider key is absolutely a waste, and is very fragile too.If broken ruins the look of the phone
*No cover to the camera lens.
If u want to use the phone for long time, better not to buy this one, or if u are a regular phone changer u can just try this.

I have updated my software to v6.60..it works good.flash got perfect and hanging is totally removed.its a nice phone.everything is awesome.navislide fell off.and the steel thats beside the screen,fell off..so the body is poor and weak

this is a fkin sad phone... its been only 4 months and its display aint workin.. the service ppl changed its display and still it dint work.. then they blame it on us saying it was soaked in water..?!? i don't carry the mobile outta my house!!! i dint know nokia produced such kind of phones and scam ppl.. my faith and trust of nokia is lost.. i ll never purchase another nokia phone in my life

Hello all, just bought this cool phone yesterday and already I have been experiencing problems. First, the phone only shows that the total memory of my (512 MB) m-card is 470 MB. Where is the remaining 42 MB memory gone then? And when I charge my phone for about 5 minutes, its battery gets soooo hot that you can't even touch the phone. Is this normal? And has anyone else been experiencing problems just like mine? And have the BP-5M official Nokia batteries started being recalled worldwide because of this problem? Someone please answer.

i bought this phone in march-08. Music key cracks very often... i got it fixed twice...is this the same problem with every one? other wise its awsome fone.

I cant belive that Nokia make such an unworthy piece. First it starts to fail in writing to the memory chip(which is well working in other devices). One morning I got up to see that the 5610 is switched off, & now it does not start.
I tried to install the software again, but the repair people tried & failed. it has been only 2 months i used the 5610 & all my money is wasted.

i hav never seen a mobil as worst as this it hanged up on the very next day i bought d mobil. some hw i adjusted and used it 4 1 month. it stopped workin completly and ther was a replacement wit another piece 5610. until yestrday i was usingthe replaced mobile today mornin the same problem arised it not workin at all its off thts it. so no one plzzzzzzzzz dont waste money on this mobil its damm waste

I got the white color Nokia 5610 from T-Mobile USA with 2 years contract $149 minus $50 mail in rebate.
Much better and more feature than T-mobile Nokia 5310 red.

bwehg, 29 Oct 2008since t-mobile is a 2g gsm gprs edge technology it dont mat... moreHey thanks for responding to my query but after buying this phone from t mobile i had it unlocked so i have it on another network now.So I was just wondering if it has the camera hidden.my theory is they just hid it by putting their face plate with t-mobile written on it over the camera.So im planning to have it flashed.What do you think.

Which software is the latest for my 5610,I have version o5.92 ?and what does this version fix?
Why cant I voice record for more than 60 seconds, even when I save to memory card it is not possible?
I also cant update my software on Nokia sight is it because i purchase my phone from t-mobile.

shawn, 31 Oct 2008no kml...dont buy this...just go for n81..this phone is bad... morejust update the software and the hang problem is gone... just like mine.. this phone is nice and handy...
