thi is the first time that i will leave a comment here... this is for all those people keep on complaining about this phone... First, there is no perfect phoen ever exist, i've experience all those negative things that ur saying.. my phone hangs when receiving text while listening to mp3,and some other minor problems.. but at least NOKIA is good enough to do sumthing about this.. UPDATE UR SOFTWARE AND U WILL BE HAVING THE BEST THIS PHONE COULD OFFER..anyway its FREE OF CHARGE.

I can not start up my nokia 5610 after i formatted memory card inside the phone.
pls advice any key code or pc-suite to reactivate..

gayu, 18 Oct 2008if i receive a message at 8.30 am, it shows as message rece... morego to settings>date and time>date and time settings, then adjust your time zone, after that adjust your time

My friend is planning to buy one handset at Hyderabad, India. He prefers NOKIA and Samsung model.
New handset should have
Sliding (NOT BAR MODEL), 3 MP, Flash, Decent battery, 3G, FM, GPRS, Extendable memory slot, Range is up to 15K INR, Strong key pad
He has selected few models such as
•Nokia 5610 (Drawback -weak key pad),
•Nokia 6600 (Not available in Hyderabad,India market till now)
•Nokia 3600 (Drawback - Not have 3G)
•Samsung I450 (only drawback 2MP camera)

I use nokia 5610 its internet is good, camera is also good the picture quality of the camera is very good its music is good but i think the sound of its speaker is little low in noise place the sound of nokia 5610 is hardly to here. the software are not downlode in this mobile i try so much to download software in this mobile but it is not working in the mobile.

I read many comments about this cell and others, like Nokia 5310, Nokia N73 and LG KF510. By the design, camera quality and opinions I decided by 5610 red. Some things I didn't know that would make a difference:
1)It take some time to 5610 answers the commands. So if you just unblock the keypad you must wait some time before start any function, especially music player.
2) The songs can only be organized by the Id3 info, so is really important to organize onde the computer name of artist, song, genre and album - otherwise appear "artist unknown" or something like that
3) The 2.5mm jack for the headphones are not common and the adapter it comes together its a long (too long by the way) wire. the only solution will be a stereo bluetooth headset (also very hard to find in my country)
4) The camera is not as good as expected. I mean, it has autofocus, 3.2 mp and dual led flash! But if I tell you that is a VGA with no flash you would definitely believe. I'm not demmanding, just wish at least a clear image.
If I had the chance maybe would search a little bit more between my choices. But I think those all-in-one are new tecnology and still too soon to keep with high expectations that will work as good as a camera or a mp3 player.

Hey people, im having an issue after updating to V8.30. The phones display goes off even when im using it. I mean, it works but the backlight on the screen alone goes off. The key pad and the light around the slider is little dim than normal during this time. Please help.
Note: I've even tried restoring all. But it didnt help.
