mladen, 13 May 2009mobile review says that its starting cost will be around 28... moreDo you mind giving a quote of that 280€ bit?
I couldn't find anything on the site other than a 220€ price point. 280€ is a little expensive...That's 5800 teritory.

This phone is already available in Holland, and will be available in Dubai only towards the end of the year. Not sure about availability in other European countries.

The point is that processor speed shouldn't be the deciding factor for buying this phone. Think of it this way: smaller processor=less battery consumption=smaller battery=more compact body with a tried and proven OS speed. I'd ve sooner convinced by a dedicated graphic accelerator or more ram (HTC devices running Windows Mobile have 256mb of ram and some WM devices even have 512mb; this might be overkill for S60,though).
In my opinion, this phone's special treat is it's low SAR level. It has a 1.01 SAR reading, while the N79, N82 have over 1.30. Even the E75 has 1.20 SAR level. This is the only decent Nokia all-around phone with a decent SAR level(price-quality-wise).If money isn't an issue, the N95 and the E90 are also sound performers, but in this price bracket, only the 5800 is worthy competition, just that it is not everyone's cup of tea. I like to have my applications available and coming soon ;).

elina, 11 May 2009but the nokia website said it would have 600 mhz..gsmarena ... moreDon't know 100%. This is what the review says:"Further complicating the matters was the 5630’s announcement and spoilers at forum.nokia.com that it was running on ARM11 600 Mhz CPU. To be honest, back then I even imagined they were going to come up with a new platform brimming with innovative solutions, as the 5630 XpressMusic’s unusually slim profile (for this much computing power inside, that is) suggested. However the reality was much less exciting – once again, people at forum.nokia.com let a small error slip into their announcement, and as it turned out the CPU employed by the 5630 XM wasn’t even near the much-hyped 600 Mhz, on the contrary hardware-wise it wasn’t much different from the Nokia 6290 and 6120 Classic. Although, its software department has received more than just a face-lift, which is definitely good news. Nevertheless it was pretty amusing to see how some people suddenly got intrigued by the “600 Mhz” remark, oblivious to the fact that faster CPUs don’t necessarily guarantee better performance. So, the disclaimer that followed will probably leave them supremely disappointed in the 5630 XpressMusic."I think that what they claim is true because Nokia's S60 phones run just fine on the 369mhz processor. The E61 ran just fine on a 220 mhz processor although my N70 is a little sluggish.A faster processor doesn't always mean more performance but it always means more power consumption!

elina, 11 May 2009why is the processor is lower than 5630 eventhough it's new... moreIt's not clear if the 5630 has a 600mhz processor. Read mobile-reviews review of the 5630 for more information. And besides, you don't need a very fast processor for Symbian. Motorola Z8 had a 330 mhz processor and ran UIQ just fine (as do SE G700 and G900 with I believe the old ARM9 processor...220mhz). It should be just as fast as the N79 (same processor and same memory if I remember correctly) and that is just fine!
Looking foward for the launch date of this HS. A lot rests on it's price.
And by the way, this is one of Nokia's better smartphones as far as SAR levels go...

this phones basic design is very similar to the E75. its a little thicker i think by like 1mm and liek wider too.. i believe this screen is slightly bigger than theE75 thoh. i think its a good phone to buy if ur on a budget like me lol I', gonna get this phone.
i think another reason why this phone is cheaper is cuz is more plastic less metal 375 has a metal case and is thinner and sleeker.
i htink e75 also has some document editing apps for business men which i havent used lol cuz i dont need to..and the keys are different. the E75 has 4 shortcut keys on its vertical numeric pad here there just hte menu key and hte cancel key but
overall i think it will e a good buy..if u want music, fast texting, good pictures and free internet cuz it has wlan lol i love phones that have that
theyare the BOMB :D

FINALLY!!! This is the phone i've been waiting for, a music phone with qwerty keyboard, it's because my first phone is a nokia 5500, qwerty keyboard music phone and im fully satisfied with that phone because i can text message people fast and easy. that's why i didn't bother to learn to text fast on other phone, i love the qwerty keyboard feel of the cellphone
