5730xm Owner, 15 Jul 2010My friend forget about "Opera mini", and install ... moreI use opera mobile when i have a wi-fi connection...but rest of the time i usually browse with opera mini(on gsm or 3g connectivity)...saves a lot on data charges.

Aks, 15 Jul 2010just installed opera mini 5.1....it is definitely gulping d... moreMy friend forget about "Opera mini", and install "Opera Mobile 10", as I am using it, and it is much better than any "mini" version.

But I don't know if reinstalling the firmware will restore the lost memory space or not, as I haven't tried it.

varen if I were you id get the E71 its an amazing phone i have used the 5730 and its like a cheap plastic phone very low quality though it has one good in it which is n gage games. get the E71 if your not a gaming person, i mean come on who plays games on a phone whats the sony ps3 for? so yeah get the E71 you wont regret it trust me, at the same time its very rough tough phone I drop my phone every day yet it still works as good as new!

just installed opera mini 5.1....it is definitely gulping down more in terms of data...will need to reinstall version 5.0.

A while back there were a few posts on how the phone memory decresed even after installing the apps in the memory card and that this lost memory could not be recovered even after removing those apps...well, today i was talking to someone who told me that there is a lot of scatter (junk files accumulated here and there) in symbian. To remedy the lost memory he has recommended me to update the firmware and if already up to date then reinstall that firmware using software updater through pc suite installed on my system...if someone knows whether this will help or not, please respond...otherwise, i will be trying it in a few days and shall get back with the results...
