There is a firmware update already for this phone. It 'seems' a little faster now. I have not been able to find any release notes regarding the firmware update though. It is update 101.48.128.

for me its perfect, music, wifi,nokia, but i still need this text thing for school :D exam cheat :D

From the looks of it, this phone is really cool to have... What I want to know is can it support apps such as utorrent since it has upnp characteristic and it has a cpu?

yash, 06 Nov 2009ya buddy i bought it from uae and im in india... i did the ... moreThat is the reason, you flash your phone firmware with your country firmware (india) but the phone is from uae market. maybe there something different with the both firmware. you need to flash black your phone with the correct firmware (diy: search from net but risk if u newbie) or the simple one, take it to the nokia centre. i'm not having that problem because i'm buying phone for my country market.

ok just got the phone yesterday, today im sending it to the service centre. :< count me unlucky but when i slide the keyboard out to input a msg the screen will tilt to 1 side, however when i slide it back it just stay there. simply refuse to tilt back. i tried to refresh the software and restore factory setting but nothing change, got really disappointed with this phone.

when i read the specifications i saw that 5730 has got a battery life of 300h(2g). but when i read the one of its disadvatages was that it has poor battery life. in my opinion it is not a poor battery life.
is it???

i have had many many symbian nokias starting 3650 and using n86 at moment and htc touch pro..The trouble is after n95,n958gb n82,,n96 5800 and so on i have become bored and looking at e72 as next fone until i came across this fone in said below mag...I think i will give it a go..

I get a mag every month its just changed its name to smartfone essentials and rarly ever gives a 9/10 and never a 10/10 ..well in this issue the 5730 gets 9/10..

This phone is great! The camera may be 3.2 mp but the pics are quite great! The music plays best on the headset with bass booster on! The keyboard rocks but doesnt work with mxit.....wonder why! The designis a master piece, I get complements from everyone i come accross especially when i slide the key board out......... Ohh and im the first person to get it in SA.... The local cell shops dont have it *grinning*
