Reviewers,
Don't praise a low end phone costing less than 250 dollars. Probably most of the guys writing their reviews are low income earners who can not afford above 650 Usd to purchase a worthy smartphone. Reputable manufacturers has good smart phones in that bracket and processor speeds 1 GHZ and displays of minimum 800x480 resolution. If you can not afford a real smartphone, get one on demo and explore what a real smartphone is. Sorry guys, I can afford any smart phone and i am making genuine comparison out of experience.

pls help me
bought 5800 NE from dubai (made in hungary}
the manuals r in only hungary language.
1) from wer 2get manual in english, searched on google
but only xpress music manual m geting.
2) inside the box got voucher with pin code
wen i use dis pin in nokia website(india) to downld
songs it says invalid pin.
url (music.nokia.it) given on the voucher to
redeem, but website is in hungary language
pls help me

hi. i bought a 5800 NE a month ago but its giving me lots of prob. such as low vaibration & camera isn't clear means when i pose a pic it comes shadow.... can u give me a a soluation?????

you should go to visit www.nokia.com and download ovi map for your fone and copy ovi map on the c drive in your fone.

It is a great phone. Downloaded some stuffs and it's working perfectly.
I can't ask for more, it has everything.
Maps-the maps are so helpful in the NE. It has a lifetime warranty already.
Camera-pretty good too,but sometimes not that good in low lighting conditions (but what's the use of a photoshop? If you want clearer photos then buy a digital camera!)
Browsing-wifi and 3g are the best. Even if in 2g mode,it's pretty fast.
Touch-it's responsive. Bought the phone with an updated firmware of v50 and it has kinetic scrolling already.
Sound-loud.i'm satisfied with it. I just don't understand why some comments here tell that it sucks. Maybe their mp3 songs are of low quality.
Overall, Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition is a superb phone. Must buy!
