i bought this new phone and it is really nice..but i dont know how to use some of the features..especially the WIFI..haha..

hi everybody. i just bought this new nokia 5800 navigation edition and i am so confused about the differences bet the two. especially unto the so called firmware. i just only have one question, is it compatible/safe for the navigation edition to update its firmware which is the v52.0.007?

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2011i am facing a problem regarding wifi of my mobile nokia 580... morei think the reason may be that the wifi connection that u are trying to access has got some security keyword that needs to be specified when asked during connecting manually the wifi.once u specify it u can get access to the wifi source.i tried it out wid my friend's mobile.that's all the experience related to this problem i have got.just give it a try if u want.it is only one of the many problems that i have solved and faced.

mark, 25 Feb 2011yeah dats true..battery is not good..but features are exell... moreThis is true the battery is terrible you get a day and a half with average use just like the 5320 XM don't know if the 3d image engine and the audio chip has a part to play. Cause that's like 3 processor.
My daily use:
Sometime 3/4 to a whole day stand bye.
2 Hours of light intermittent browsing.
20 minutes of video watching at high volume.
30 minutes of playing music at high volume.
Network mode in GSM only.
So I don't really understand where nokia get the estimation.
Similarly the 5320 XM say 24 hours of music playback bearly get four when connecting to a computer speakers thinks Nokia should emphasise on giving us a better estimate cause we do love you well.
I'm a die hard nokia fan waiting on all you Window Phone 7 os but using it as a primary os phone maybe in the 500us phone range when now launch.

I Hve 5800 Exp Music. need to inst flash player.... moreYou can't install a full flash player like a computer flash player cause it wouldn't work the only version that would work is the flash lite that is currently installed on the phone. There's nothing you can really do about it.

If you didn't have to manually input IP adresses when you connected your computer then DHCP is enable.

Its a very exquisite package, i didnt know i could have a free navigation package and xpress musik. Its lekker, with 3.6Mbps HDSPA Internet speed and 434MHz processor speed and 128MB RAM...... WOW!!!!
