i am using this since Feb-2005.and it is marvelous set.battery time is really good.its casing is solid. but one bad thing about this,its software corruption and radio do not work then.otherwise this is best set in range of nokia same value sets

Watch out !!! There are two versions of that phone.. The US/Canadian version doesn't work
on GSM 900/1800... It works on 850/1900 Which is useless in Europe.

No, this phone cant play mp3 music. It cant be used as modem since there is no driver support for its data gprs module (which is used by phone internally for connecting to WAP and HTML pages with integrated browser or installed Opera Mini (java version). Mini USB cable is used ONLY for sinchronizing and download/upload pics/MIDs to and from phone. If there is need for using phone as modem to connect PC or laptop to internet, maybe 6070/6080 should be the choice.

This phone is a very good phone and i recommend it for any one who love music.It has a strong battery and a high color resolution.Mum and Dad please buy this phone for kids.

the phone is good and the battery perfect but the problem is it does not have mp3 and other important functions
how can i use it with my PC since i have the cable for more tone etc

I'm using this phone for the last 16 months
so for there is no defects i found with this phone - it is an good looking phone.
suitable only for the lower-middle range mobile users those who want a phone with colour display ,with a good FM and an excellent battery life.
Third-party data cables are available with which we can use OXYGEN or MOBIMB phone browsers to upload pictures and tones to the phone but remember maximum memory is 3 MB only
NOTE : If you want a phone to have a better life span you can go for nokia 6030 nothing else will equalise it.

Very good looking and giving good performance.But it is mentioned that there is no memory card slot,except the 3MB in built memory.So it is not possible to download applications of higher size.I also want to know the function of the bottom connector.

Hi Friends,
I lost 6030 and it really satisfied my needs as a second fone. Am planning to get anthr nokia and my chocies are between 6030 and 6070. i am currently using a se k550 so no need of camera/connectivity.
Plz send your opinions, i specially liked the speakerfone of 6030.

The phone is excellant. Good battery life and a very clear FM Radio.
