a phone which is worth for its cost.
really a very good phone for the middle class people. if any want to buy just buy don't think. a very nice phone with colour display and radio.

Hey , guys .. i have seen a Data cable for this phone in the market..
the shopkeeper said that we can upload ringtones and wallpapers easily..
the only thing i want to know before buying it is .. can i upload themes and games to the phone using the data cable..
and if i can where do we get these themes and games??/

Q-How do you turn off the music when you press the power button to turn the phone off?
A-Under Phone Settings, scroll down to Start-up Tone and selrct Off...

I bought this phone online without looking at the options, screen or backgrounds. The backgrounds are awful and look like they were taken off a 1980's Atari screen. There are only 2 "themes" and each one worse than the other. The Menu screen looks like something from a 1990's old 286 computer. Menu has odd navigation, sometimes using the center toggle button to select, sometimes using the left key as the 'main' select key. Like the phone looks, hate the software! Can I upgrade?

THEMES FOR NOKIA 6030
u can hv lot of downloads for 6030 from www.zedge.net.what i wud recommed is that first u get themes downloaded to your pc from mobile9.com.Zedge provides a personal upload shack where u can transfer ur downloaded themes and then finally retrieve them using WAP

hello i got this phone some dayz back and i tried browsing with it but it could not get me any search result on google or even yahoo. moreso i couldn't even check my mail can any one help me with some ideas on this.
another point what is this Mobimb 3.1. all abt and if it's that good how do i download it to my phone. I live in Nigeria

dear all,
i just buy the phone in April 2006.(hk).it brings a nightmare for me ,it does not ring for three times within 6 monthes. i have suffered the same problem in every 8 weeks and i missed so many calls.i also ask the cutomer service (nokia),how they can help me in such worse condition. they say: just bring the phone to their customer repair center....i told the cs (ms lai) that i have go there already and dealing the same problems...she says NOKIA provide one year gurantee........what can i do if the problems still exist?????????
she says nokia will not provide any phone change at all........can anyone tell me how to do .........

I just bought this some days ago, pretty simple phone but it's everything i need and want.
Few things missing:
no MP3!!... nah, i have a ipod
no Camera... who cares
only one game... i have a PC and PS2
Personally i like the desing, somekind pretty.

hi guys i have this phone and also have a cable of this phone this data cable works with Mobimb 3.1. or nokia pc suite latest.
Its much nice phone price is low now a days.

Nice Fone .. Just got one 2day ..
A very nice Keypad .. Not very hard not too soft .. Love the green & red keys !!
Graphics are good ..Its made for people who just wanna have a basic phone witout the camera .. Jus like my mom ..
We got 3 digi cams at home so prefer without camera phone ... i got this from india ( new Delhi ) .. Its about $68 ( preety cheap ) ..
The speakers are good .. jus like stereo sound ..
The thing i don like is that u cant customize the left selection key ( It remains Go To only ) ..
& by chance u press any number key .. ull get out of the menu ( if u r visiting it ) .. and then u have to go all over again to that place ..
Only 1 game .. Sucks hard !! x-(
Thats for it .. games can be dloaded i knw .. but i don have the data cable for it .. neways .. its for basic use so don need much of it !!

Nice phone just got one yesterday. The fm on the loudspeaker sounds much better than my previous nokia 6101

This phone is great for users looking for basic functions and don't need the camera. The battery life is great - can last me about 5 days :)
