Can someone tell me whats the use of hp with GPRS feature. What advangtage has it over basic just make-call/sms hp ? thx.

This is a PHONE, and this is exactly what I wanted. It does the job well, reception and sound quality is very good.
Imho, all phones have crappy keypads nowadays and 6030 is no exception. Cell phone designers / manufacturers have to re-learn how to make good ones. Oh wait, that would mean a production price increase of 10 cents per phone, ... ain't gonna happen.

got the phone yesterday...upset i cant put the ringtones on it with the voice but oh well does everything i need and want. like the siz of it and how easy it is to use..the FM radio is great and love that...
just dont like centennial where my service is threw

Well, maybe i'm so unfortunate, cos my boyfriend got me the phone but wasnt working well.. thats a bad impression, cos first impression really matters.

I got this phone for my fiancee as an interim replacement for her older phone, and she still has it. I was just wondering if this phone has support for a data cable? I know with only 3 MB of memory you can't do much with it, but I just want to know. Thanks. BTW...its a nice phone.

I love this phone in Black! I just got one for free -no rebate required from a cingular cell phone reseller. It wisn't loaded down with too many features that I'll never use which is nice, just a solid candybar style phone.

hai i am kumar. i had bought nokia 6030. how can i download pictures and games from wap. though i have usb slot on my mobile,they had't given any enhancements for downloading. is there any connectors available in market. please give me details.

Hey guys! Just bought a 6030 today and i'm loving it! I was just wondering.. does this have a slot for a usb data cable? i see one just in the middle of the slots for the charger and headset, but i'm not sure if it's for the data cable... thanks! =)

well..bought this phone yesterday for a very reasonable price at malaysia..before buying this phone..i have do a lot of research of this phone..so my comment on this phone is..just feel that the keypad r a bit loose compared to others nokia model..it make feel like not so solid enuf..the front part housing of this phone get dirty easily..really..other function are quite good n not much different from other nokia s40 model like nokia 3220,6020 or 7260..the different are the icon on the phone..but u can change it when u install themes that download form wap..the speaker of this phone is really really good..no need loudspeaker already very loud and acceptable by most of the people..the radio just moderate..compared to nokia 6510,the 6510 radio quality much more better..so..i still wondering whether 6030 can use nokia s40 pc suite?the cable can get it easily form digital camera shop since this cable are used by kodak digicam also..but we still need pc suite right?there are no support of pc suite on nokia official website..so can this phone connect to pc and use pc suite?can somebody guide me..thanks!! ;)

Sid, there is no such feature. Nirjhar, the interface to the PC is via a special USB cable. However, it is not documented by Nokia. That is, there is no official support for a cable connection to the PC. However, there are some 3rd party manufacturers selling such cable.

Hi Guys,
pls let kno...
i need to kno if there is feature that makes a fone just vibrate from 9:30 am to 6 pm and then change to ring mode. i mean to keep it silent+vibrate between offfice hours.
this is similar to Samsung functionality of having the morning alarm off on weekends and then back on weekdays, so that we can get some seep on sat and sundays.

Everything is perfect. Only one question, what is the interface between PC and this phone? Is there any cable for this phone? Or any other way? I am confused on this issue.

Nokia is always best, no one can beat nokia, last six months i was using siemens M65 but facing so many problems now again i join my favourite family of Noka and this Nokia 6030 is perfect for me its perfect for everone who dont like camera in a mobile.perfect size, perfect battery time.in short i say Nokia is the best.

I'm using this N 6030 now.. nice & simple with classic design, good display.
I really like this shiny compact black mobile. Really cool, and affordable also.
Besides, it's look elegant to me for sure. Keypad is comfortable. UI is OK.
Next after this I'm planning to go after 8800 or 6270.

I have just bought this mobile phone and i am totally satisfied with this mobile.it has has got look and moreover the quality of radio is quite better than the previous mobiles launched by nokia.

The look of the mobile phone is good but wat about the stereo fm radio which is not there.sony ericsson j230i is better than nokia 6030 in terms of sound quality and look.
