its a good, nice mobile, but it will be best when i got the software to connect it with pc, i have its serial data cable, but pc-suite not support this model, so no software its mean it can't connect with pc...??somebody knows about its software??????

You can adjust the volume by pressing the > key while IN a call. Does anyone know how to use speakerphone? Is it just turning volume up to maximum? Has anyone tried USB data cable/software with this model? TIA

can anyone help? how do I increase the earpiece volume on my nokia 6030? I know it's only a basic phone but I would have thought this was possible. The earpiece volume is very quiet and difficult to hear, especially in noisy conditions, such as traffic or pubs etc. Anybodies help would be appreciated.

Hello All,
I think this the graetest phone ever.Because it has all basic and good functions.Like mms,gprs,fm radio,colour display,phone book+10 fields,downloadable tones.themes wallpapers,nice bettery timing,etc.Good job nokia.this is the phone which i was waiting for a long time.My previouse phone was nokia 2300.

To Tallal Hassan - CHARGING BATTERY PROBLEMS with NOKIA 6030
I had absolutely the same problem just today. After few minutes spent in web searching I decided to check out if my charger (the original one from my phone box set) supports my phone (Nokia 6030). I was really shocked by the result – it appeared that the charger inside the original package was not appropriate for my phone!!!! The appropriate model recommended by NOKIA is ACP-7 while the model included in the box was ACP-8E!!!
So I borrowed an ACP-7 from a colleague here and it works fine. NO MORE problems observed during the battery recharging process. So I recommend you to check for your charger model. It should be ACP-7

Its a great phone. I mean what else do u want for this price. A clear FM receiver, 65K screen and a size small enough to fit in any pocket and the usual convenience of Nokia phones. Its one of the best bargains you'll be able to pick up!!

This phone is not bad, but has only two selectable themes.
Question: how can I deactivate the themes and keep the blank screen?

for adjusting the earpiece volume, you have to make sure you assign those keys the "empty" function- if you assign it soemthing else you can't control volumne

i got this phone few days ago......... i have some problems.......first i select a theme in my phone,when i switch it off n then on.......i find that the theme i selected it not there it has changed....do i have to select it all the time i switch it on...then i dont find my send message in the sent message folder........can u plz explain this 2 me......

This is the perfect first phone for my 10 year old daughter. With it being free from Cingular, we couldn't go wrong.
