It was my very first set. I still remember the day when i got this set, i was on cloud 9. I used this set for over 3 years. LOVE U & MISS U!!!

This phone is quite robust but also very limited and outdated. Many Java apps don't work with it and has no SSL support. I managed to install Opera Mini (low mem ver), UC browser (low mem ver), MujMail, PicoMail and a few games (chess, Prince of persia etc). Facebook app is too slow. The most annoying thing about 6030 is its lack of memory, file system and CPU power. And I don't like the way it switches case of letters.

You can save names and phone numbers (Contacts) in the phone memory and in the SIM
card memory.
The phone memory may save contacts with numbers and text items.
Names and numbers saved in the SIM card memory, are indicated by .
Search for a contact
Select Menu >Contacts > Names > Options > Search. Scroll through the list of contacts or enter the first letter
of the name you are searching for.
Save names and phone numbers:
Names and numbers are saved in the used memory. Select Menu > Contacts > Names > Options > Add new
contact. Enter the name and the phone number.
Add more details to names:
In the phone memory for contacts you can save different types of phone numbers, and short text items per
name.
The first number you save is automatically set as the default number, and it has a frame around the number
type indicator. When you select a name, the default number is used unless you select another number.
1. Make sure that the memory in use is either Phone or Phone and SIM.
2. Scroll to the name which you want to add a new number or text item, and select Details > Options > Add
detail.
3. To add a number, select Number and one of the number types.
To change the number type, scroll to the desired number, and select Options > Change type. To set the
selected number as the default number, select Set as default.
To add another detail, select a text type from E-mail address, Web address, Postal address, and Note.
4. Enter the number or text item; to save it, select OK.
5. To return to the standby mode, select Back > Exit.

Copy contacts:
Search for the contact you want to copy, and select Options > Copy. You can copy names and phone numbers
to and from the phone contact memory to and from the SIM card memory. The SIM card memory can save
names with one phone number attached to them.

I've lost my Nokia 6030 for 3 years. And today, on the Hanoi Open Maket, I purchased the other one for 40.000 vnd (~2 USD). It looks very new and It works fine. Thank God!

srikant, 29 Sep 2012i had purchased it in 2006. i am using it till 2012.actually i was using 7 yrs this 6030 nokia mbl,, till no have problem in my mbl... kindly provide this types of mobile phones in the world..... i recommended this nokia 6030...
