This phone perfectly suits for beginners. (also perfect for anyone like my mom who hates phone which have a very small/narrow keypads. hehehe)
Since nokia 6085 is a folding phone, i should remind those who get really careless at times to be wary of their phone. My nokia 6085 divided in two when I accidentally hit a wall with it. How unfortunate.

Got this phone back in 08 (won it out of an arcade game called "Stacker" haha), was great for a first phone that I could use for media playback and Bluetooth interactivity with my mates. Never had a problem with it apart from the back casing becoming loose over time and eventually unable to stay in it's slot (albeit likely due to overuse; I used to open and close it a LOT). I found the interface and features to be great, always working smoothly. I also felt the design was quite good - I liked the two tone front with the black plastic and metal.

I've been using this phone for years. It's a great phone. FM radio with heatset is nice. (Heatset's mic picks up all sorts of noise that the phone's mic doesn't though.) MP3 ... not so nice. Quality of playback is okay, but the forced indexing your music on the memory card is s ... l ... o ... w. And you can't seem to make your own playlists, nor navigate by folder. Voice commands are unreliable and can get annoying random results. Also the phone can be rather quirky at times, needing to be rebooted to sort out whenever it gets into one of its "moods". And one handy tip: The graphic equalizer in the MP3 player is actually applied to ALL audio from the phone, so you can crank up the volume even louder or turn it down even quieter than simple volume control allows, or even use it to tweak the audio quality of calls ... whether you meant to or not.

I have the 6085, which is perfect in almost every way. But I can't hear a voice when I send or receive calls, Can anyone advice on how to remedy this
