1. Displays Serial Number.
2. Displays the Month and Year of Manufacture (0997).
3. Displays (if there) the date where the phone was purchased (MMYY).
4. Displays the date of the last repairment - if found (0000).
5. Makes you capable of transferring user data if you have the gear for it.
6. Shows how long the phone has been used to talk. This counter is not reset by when you "clear timers"
like the counters in the call register.

Sold it a while back, big BIG mistake.... currently using a 6230i which is ok but selling due to going back to the original, best, 6100... any1 who can buy 1 of these go for it, its the best phone FULL STOP. They dont make phones like this anymore.

A very handy phone having simple and useful features. Not a status phone. Is affordable but now not seen very often in the market. Is very hardy and dependable. Has a good battery and a very good speaker and ear piece considering the small size of the phone. Operation is satisfactory. GPRS browser speed is ok if you are browsing in a relatively open environment. Memory is less if the user wants to download huge files. Otherwise its not a problem at all. Resolution is ordinary but satisfactory. Battery charging is quick if you use original Nokia Charging Equipment. Ringtones, Alarm & message tones are loud and clear. Overall a very good & simple phone.

I still have this unit because its cute and very handy .If possible NOKIA must manufacture a nhigh end unit as big as this.

Its time to launch Nokia 6100i.
We need TFT, In call timer, FM, and enhanced Keypad with metal touch, Connectivity can be enhanced if possible. No need to put camera in this gadget.

Hey this was my first cell and perhaps I ve chose the best I could get in my budget.. Its been 1 and a 1/2 yrs I am using this cell and dont want to sell it. But yesterday my cell fall of from my table and since then there is no display on the cell besides other functions working perfectly. There is not even a scratch on the screen . COME ON NOKIA GET A NOKIA 6100i out with blue tooth and maybe a few more tweeks.there is a massive market for such a phone.do not change its size and shape.the vast majority of users will appreciate its small size,good battery life and clarity of this phone and do not need a camera or the other fancy additions that most phones have today.An ingenious masterpiece.

i bought this phone 2 years back of pak rs 13500. u know that its shape is the best. its shape is quite slim and i suggest for those of u who want to sell it, don't, keep it as a second mobile. i m thinking that i shall buy another one like this bcz nowadays its rate is pak rs 6500. so ill keep that 1 for another 2 years and when ill sale it it would have to request someone and give him some more money to take this set away from me!

I'm using this phone for like 1.5 year and haved had any problems. It is the best phone I ever used and rarly sold in Suriname. My advise to anyone who has this phone: NEVER sell it. You will regret it

Nokia should kindly produce more of this set
because it is the best ever produced ;but unfortunately scarce in the markets- especially in Nigeria and Egypt.

I wish NOKIA would produce a newer phone so slim once more. how about remove the useless IR function and the GAMES function and just make it slimmer a cool phone for the pocket.

i've returned to this classic phone after going through multiple phones.the size,battery life and voice clarity are outstanding.i got a new 6100 0n ebay and paid 120 pounds.i hope nokia gets a phone out similar to 6100 with bluetooth.perfect phone.
