I've had this phone for a year now and it has never let me down. Its reliabilty and durability are its key features tho despite this no camera, bluetooth, FM radio etc. means its hardly the flashiestphone.

...hi the infrared port for this phone is on the side...i believe its on the right side when you are holding it ...so it cant connect really if you hold it head to head with another phone...:)

i have been through 6 phones ,nokia, motorola, sonyericsson last 3 years.nokia 6100 has been the best.beautiful design and size.it is what a mobile phone should be.i don't think 90 % of mobile uses use all that fancy additions.i think size and reliability are the most important and nokia 6100 rules.i wish nokia would get phones out in this size for future models.

With only weight of 76g and volume of 60cc, this phone is still the lightest and smallest Nokia phone so far. No device from Nokia can beat since its announcement in 2002.

Tried to connect with my friend's Nokia 6260 through 'InfraRed' but it fails everytime. Any idea why it doesn't work?
