I have used the Nokia 6100 as my secondary backup phone since 2004. It is now the year 2010 and it is still going strong. I have replaced only the cover and the battery, which by the way Nokia now rate at 860mAh, so the phone lasts that little bit extra now.
This is a simple phone, with basic MMS capabilities, good calendar, and relatively good battery life. If you're thinking about a lightweight phone, ignore Nokia's new offerings and do yourself a favour and buy a Nokia 6100 second-hand! They can be had for only a few dollars online if you search, and if for some reason you were to break a part, there are numerous parts available online. For as simple phone, that still has a few business features, I thoroughly recommend this phone!

I have had my Nokia 6100 since 2004, it is in good condition and still serves me to date. I have never even replaced the battery, I just replaced its face this year. I think Gusto you had been sold something that was not an original 6100. Nokia Phones are very long lasting and good.

its actually one of the best phones i ever had, even though i had it in 2006. I loved everything about it, gprs and picture messaging. this is a wonderful phone.

It is offshoot of Nokia. I bought it and left for 6 days only. Then resold it for 6300. 6100 is weak has no any extras. The GPRS is frozen often. The battery collapsed in 3 days operation. Display is smoothly. Bad phone.

The second stronger and reliable after 6510! Perfect phone! Its main competitor is also Ericsson t39m - durable one.

Don buy from them! The phone colapsed, it turned out that it is bad refurbished unit and stopped working forever.

its a perfect mobile for an ordanary use one problem is that it has no fm radio
