Not bad, but not that great either. Average on all fronts. One thing to note is that the keypad tends to scratch the screen over time.

I have a little more space to take pictures though the camera is like UGH!!! It's cute and small, not good for busy people as it has really LOW memory trust me! Not good for people who likes music, no Mp3 player for music unless u can make do with a radio. Only good for people that will only use it for simple stuff like calling and msging

I got about 11 months use out of mine until the hinges went to crap and I would turn it upsidedown and it would just fall open.
Within weeks of owning it,the buttons scratched the heck out of the faceplate.
The phone got poor reception where other phones through the same provider got good reception.I wasnt thrilled about its very low memory...no bluetooth either.
This phone might be all right for a senior citizen who is not going to put much wear and tear on it.Not recommended for kids or hard core gamers.Camera was crap also.

i've had this phone since october 2006, and in general, i'm not disappointed with it. sure, the memory is really low, but i wasn't aware that it wouldn't be sufficient (hard to know until you use it). now i know what to look for in my next phone - it will be a nokia again, though.
the 6101 is easy as pie to use (love the nokia operating menu/system), the screen is very clear, call quality is really good, fm radio feature is cool (need headphones b/c they serve as antenna) and i haven't had any problems with it even though i've dropped a bunch of times. i'm not disappointed that it doesn't have bluetooth or mp3 capabilities because it says on any web page or even the box what it has.
if you want a great phone with a lot of features, this nokia isn't for you (but they do have a lot of other models that will most likely work - i'd stick with nokia, they are great). but if you'd like a simple phone that WORKS WELL and you only want the camera to take a picture now and again, this is the phone for you.

well.. this is a bad comment for nokia 6101.. i got this phone last month and i'm very pleased with it. but when i used it later on, i found out that it doesn't have BLUETOOTH that i needed the most and has low memory! 4.4?! what the heck? i like this phone just because of the radio. it's very simle!

Screen scratched within days...the buttons scratched it when it was closed. Godd phone for kids or older ppl. But too basic, and loooow memory. Cute though.

To the person under Brandon,
Go into the Main Menu > Settings > Call Settings > Answer when fold is opened on/off and set it to on.

I have had this phone for ages and it gets really anoying. The memory is REALLY LOW!, and it gets damaged really easily though i have to admit if you look after it well it's at least reliable and easy to use. But for anyone getting a new phone don't go for this one!

Well...I've had it for a year. Like people say. It has really LOW memory! Trust me!! I took 20 pictures and the phone tells me if I want free memory I click yes, nothing happens! I try plan B to delete pictures doesn't work! Mine hasn't scatched wich is good...The camera can't zoom and no card slot! I say the major bad thing is the camera !!!!

this phone is awful. it's the worse phone i ever had. but personally, the camera is still not bad but it had super LOW memory

this phone is a good phone for me. It's very simple. it does'nt matter if this phone has a very low memory because if i need memory I have my n70. I have this phone for 3 weeks and I didn't see a serious problem with it. And its price is very affoedable. Great work for nokia!

i personally noticed this camera turned to trashe litterally less than a week after i had bought it and have since than been bored out of my gord with this phoneNO LIE THIS PHONE MEMORY BLOWS

is there anyway of answering the phone by jus opening the flip. u can see from the mini display whos ringin so no need to hit the answer button!!! does anyone know how to do this???

It's a good phone, good signal anywhere, and it has a good performance in its very basic functions.
Pros
If you want a simple phone, just to call and receive calls or send / receive SMS, this is a very good phone.
Cons
Low memory, basic camera, no mp3 for ringtones.

but if u want music or more entertainment. this is a bad phone
there is
NO MEMORY CARD SLOT
HARDLY ANY MEMORY
and doesnt have MANYY FEATURES

6101 is the worst camera and radio phone... it has no memory and the camera has no zoom, which don't let you take pictures of your favorite band in a show... the camera also minimize the real image... the radio is cool, but you can't listen to your musics without the headfone conected... at least you can call you father or send a mensage to your sister... if you are looking for a cheaper phone, the motorola V360 is better, has memory slot and bluetooth... the 6101 has infrared, but cammon!! WHO USES INFRARED in a BLUETOOTH WORLD??????????????????????

I purchase the fone 8months ago and it has been at the repairers more than i have used it.What makes it worse is that the service center in my country Nigeria, dont think they should call and apologize for not returning my fone to me or giving me one to use for the time my fone will be repaired.
Nokia has always been my main fone till death do me part but this one was a particular embarrassment.

Nokia phones are great including this one. The only bad thing .. . camera but somehow the pictures turn out great on it's own screen. Only problem i had was I eventually broke the screen off . . . no more flip phones for me.
