this phone is pretty crap. i've had it for quite a while now and i stopped liking it after the first week or so. it has absolutley crap features. i bought it when it was quite expensive. BAD DECISION! even though it's about $129 now i still say you shouldnt buy it there are much better phones to buy.

    I highly advise you not to buy this phone.

    Okay so I've had this phone for a year and 3 months. At first it was tolerable, but then I got these scratches on the internal screen that came out of nowhere, probably from my thumbnail when I opened the flip. So now the screen beholds a ton of scratches.

    The small part of the antenna has chipped off. So now the antenna is just ugly.

    The black part below the internal screen is peeling off. At first I thought that part was plastic, but then I later had to find out the hard way(the peeling) that it is a sticker or paint or something.

    The outer part has quite a few scratches and chipped off pieces, and I've only dropped this phone at most 4 times. The back part near the antenna is cracking. The silver part on one side of the hinge is cracking.

    The hinges are 100% loose. I don't even have to use my thumb to open it. I can just like hold it upside down and it'll open.
    I have to press the buttons harder now, probably from texting so much.

    This phone has super limited memory.
    I regret buying this phone.

    You should only buy this phone if:
    -You will never ever ever ever drop it because that is when things start to come apart.
    -You are a boring person, and you do not like to customize your phone with downloaded ringtones.
    -You are cheap and old-fashioned.
    -Or if you like phones that break easily.

      hate this phone it doesnt have bluetooth, hardly any memory, buttons scratch screen, poor camera quality, hardly any memory storage, bad quality voice recorder and a lot more
      my tip: dont buy this phone

        i hav had this phone for about a year and the moment i got it i hated it.

        The Good:
        has a radio
        big clear buttons
        camera quality is ok

        The Bad:
        after a while the buttons scratch on the screen
        aerial gets very annoying
        only takes about 20 photos, more if you delete everything on the phone
        videos can only go for around 1 minute
        hardly any memory, only about 3 megabytes in total which is not much
        very slow to load

          I bought the nokia 6101 from t-mobile as a prepaid phone I had it for about a month it was great but now I turn it on and won't stay on. but when it did work I loved the radio the signal was great if I can't get It to work I might go buy another one.

            I currently own this phone. I got it in June of 2006. I personally think it's an okay phone. It has excellent picture quality. The things that I dislike about this phone is that it doesn't have Bluetooth, it only has Infrared, it hardly has enough memory, it only has 3MB of memory that's shared. When you are near the phone when it rings and you answer it, it makes an odd noise as your ringtone is going off. The things I like are the camera, the ability for the phone to play mp3 files (but the sound quality isn't great), and picture messaging.

                I have been very disappointed with this phone. After 2 months the volume control broke while stuck on high. I took it back but it could not be fixed. Now there is something wrong with the hinges so when I flip it open, I get strange pixels that turn bright white so I cannot read what is onscreen. Of course there is the much mentioned memory problem and no bluetooth. In summary, very poor quality phone made to last about 6 months.

                  You can transfer your photo with IRDA. Very easy,just buy irda and download "nokia pc suite" that all!!

                        Hi im FONE..LUVER and im 14 years old

                        My step-brother has this fone and he has had little trouble with it except from the recording system its really crap and you cant hear it. i want to get this fone in white. i mean it has all he stuff i want but not blue tooth. it has infa red and will plug into my mums laptop i don't know if i want to get it because all the comments are turning me off it. i recently had the sagem myC5-2v and it is the worst fone i have ever had and i have had bricks. LOL .let me know if this fone is worth while for a 14 year old :)

                            I had my N6101 since Dec. 2005, i enjoy so much using it even though limited memory, it serves for all my purposes, i can surf the net any time i wanted to,took pictures,videos and send to my email address and finally transfer to flash drive.However, when I buy the CA42 cable and synchronize it with the PC using windows98 is not supported,(even though after installing its cable and a modem driver) there is a need to update pc operating system to windows XP to install the PC suit.

                              hi ppl

                              Well ive had this fone for about 4 or 5 months now and i dont like it very much theres hardly any memory and im a busy person.Theres no bluetooth,the recording system is a load of ****** ****,the screen is to small,polyphonic ring tones? get with the times,the pics suck,its alright for phoning some1,scatches easy...too easy and the fone is a load of crap:(

                                  I've had this cell for 13 months and I am so done with it. I'm switching it to Nokia N91. I like the design of it, it's easy to use, but the memory is lousy! It only holds up something like 250 messages (pathetic!). It is a great cell for your granny b/c she gets about 250 messages in a decade. She will die before she has to delete them. So it is a great basic cell if you don't need any special features.

                                  Bye bye my dear 6101!

                                    I read opinions about this phone on the gsmarena before I bought it. And I didn't want to listen, because I saw it like the most wonderful cell ever! But I was so WRONG :(( Now, after only 6 months I hate it, I want to sell it and I am searching for another! :(( Low memory, lousy camera, low features... The only good thing is the battery lasting 7 days...

                                      This fone is great! although it rang in midle of me class! The tones are good! I had this for over 5 months got it frm me dad. Overall this fone did a briliant job!the features are really wonderful. I dropped it twice nothin hapened. Its a easy basic fone to handle and pretty sleek too!!! Its also an affordable price i must say!!! People BUY

                                        Heya Ppl,
                                        I had this phone for 13 months and overall I say it did its job pretty well. Good battery, fantastic keypad, good call quality, highly reliable! Its a basic phone for ppl mainly to sms alot and maybe take a few pictures here and there. This seemed to be nokia's aim for this phone so i don't see why people should be complaining. If you want something highly fancy go get an N73 or something. The memory and no bluetooth, it caters to customers who don't need that. While I used it I loved it but hav now gone and bought a W850i since I needed something more upmarket with more features.

                                        One Downside maybe that I found was the front black part of the phone caught lots of fingerprints and scratched easily.

                                        Otherwise its an AWESOME basic but HIGHLY RELIABLE phone! :)
