this phone is ok for the first 6 months...then the flip deteriorates and its just a floppy phone.. so if you wish to have a floppy phone then by all means purchase this one. :)

Hi Everyone!
I've been having this phone for one and a half month, and I have good experience with it. Its battery's standby time is around 4-5 days, the quality of ringing tones and the radio is very good. It froze a couple of times, but I bet that there isn't any phone which doesn't freeze. It's cool and elegant.

I have a 6101 a friend brought one for me and a next girl working ok , only thing the infared never worked on either one it was sent back to the nokia company and they claimed its not a manufactor fault, well who fault it is mine? And its still on warranty.Never replaced it.

6103 was not out yet. We have the 6102 purchased 12/24/05. It's been a good phone - batt. last for almost 4 hrs of talk, stand time is 2 wks, clearity is good, features and camera are good, but the flip (spring) in my wife's phone broke and now the receiver just falls open, will not stay closed. No damage just 1 yr of use. Nokia defines it as physical damage - classified as daily use, wear & tear. This happed in 1 yr with a 2 yr commitment. They won't replace it. Will cost $115 for new spring. I have heard that's one of this phones weaksness. Any similar situations, suggestions?

Well i can say that this phone is quite slow, simply browsing in the menu is slow, my Symbian phone sometimes does better... Not the best Nokia phone, if you think about buying 6103, think about buying 6125, it's obviously better, and so much more expensive, i tried them both...

First I thought it's a nce phone, but it's similar to the first version, the 6101. I had a bad experience with it. The light of the small display was flashing all the time and afterwards it didn't work anymore. when thephone is closed, the light stays on inside. Al this happened in a fraction of 1 week since I bought the phone. It's too expensive for little features. Sorry Nokia, this phone is not good. You had better ones.

Great people uses great phones. Buy this phone and be one of the great person. I have the whole world in my pocket with Nokia 6103. The phone is great I tell you.

hello, i have bought recently this nokia, and i'm happy about it, but... i have a problem with the backlight on my screen, after 10 seconds it goes out. then i have to pusch a button to have light again. after reading the manuel i have found nothing to extend the time for longer backlight.

Hi There,
I want to buy this phone for my mom but first a very important question.
Can the font size (SMS) be increased to large - as big as the maximum font size in the N6060 or N6101???
I noticed that though most Nokia models have different font size settings, maximum font sizes in some models aren't as big as the maximum font size of the above mentioned models.
Hope you can answer my question. thanks!

it is the same as a noia 6101 exept the front looks different. i own a 6101 and i was exited when i saw it soz i thought they had changed it!. i'm dissapointed

Well this phone isn't very good, mainly because of those pathetic 4mb memory, lack of functions and because it's quite slow compared to other s40 phones, but if you use the phone only for calling it's not that bad, for this price its an OK phone... I'd give it 7/10

I'm amazed at some of you people. Why are you jumping all over the people who have negative things to say about this phone. A review is just that... a review... the good... the bad... and the ugly. It sounds to me like there are some folks who are not happy with this phone. Don't slam them for their opinion... recognize that some people have found flaws, and other people want to know what the flaws are.
List all the good, and all the bad, and let people decide for themselves whether or not the good outweighs the bad.
I'm amazed that so many people don't understand what a review is all about.

Happy 07 all,ive 2 phones Nokia6103 I Mate JAS Jam
Over carst days,Nokia out does Jas Jam 4 signal streangth,$400 out does $1400
I Mate on next G Band,Things r not as good as stated in signal strength Dark days as in cloud
Now on clear day Jas Jam woks 30 km moor then old Band nokia 6103 set 2
So there u have it
