This Nokia 6108 would be great if the dicionary contain or support another language.Anyway it's cool cellphone

I've own it, and I love it so much!
First of all i don't use the writing pad, unless i need to check a chinese word i don't understand, and write it in the dictionary (usefull eh? a very very good touch pad idea to make the dictionary more useful, which it's not meant to be designed)
Talk about the dictionary, very very useful for a person who's only so so in english understanding, and some more you can check the chinese words meaning! (but chinese words combination is really a lot! don't expect that you can check every words combination...)
The ringtone is really loud! although it only got 4 voice polyphony, good enough. i got midi keyboard, i can compose my own anytime...
The vibration alert is really shakin! compare to my old 3310, which is already a real vibrator, 6108 does a greater job!
Battery life, not really really impressive, but it does impress me! compare to other colour nokia phone (smaller one), this one provide more talk time!
Mine only got 2.1mb internal memory?? but more than enough, really...
Compare to my brother's 3300, this one provide you a new calender function, which is the "notes" function. Not something special, but you can store up to 3000 words in one text file! a digital diary in your phone eh?
Overall this is not a great great phone, it doesn't have those fancy functions like camera, mp3 player, even voice recorder including voice dial (which i wish to, but i've owned a Siemens ME45, never use it...who cares?), but it suits me 90% of the things i need, the best phone (for me) at the moment, and it'll last for very long time...

I think this phone very good for China market or people who read & write chinese sms. Tried it and find that the chinese handwriting and the 2 way Chinese & English dictionary really amazing. The design and the look of the phone also very business orientated. Since the price of 6100 and 6108 are not too far different, it is more wise to buy this phone-more powerful in term of memory & functions. (ie: 6100>700KB & 6108>3MB). Thanks for reading.

This phone is really useful if you will to write chinese sms and find words in chinese in the dictionary. More than 3 MB of shared memory, not too bad comapring only 725KB for 6100/6610/7210/etc...Can also compose & retrieve email directly from this phone. The look of the phone are of very refine finish, more for business executives. Overall, it's a good all round phone and will be more better if it has a built-in camera. Nokia is always my first choice.

hmmm this baby is good,excellent chinese word recognition but poor in abc means u gotta write it properly or else it thinks u r writin a diff. letter i.e an L it will recognize as an I but overall the polyphonic speaker is kinda loud as it is 85 c the highest among all small nokia color screen phone .-best phone-after all

during reading/writing sms u cant immediately use the dictionary function to check the meaning of the word or translation. use must close the sms and remember the word and then go the dictionary to type in the word again.

not as good as u thought, 1st u cant compose ring tone n send ring tone. 2nd, u must combined d use of d pen n keypad together 4most of d time i.e. when u finished writing sms n u want 2 save msg or insert number into sms, now u must use the four way button to do this bcoz d pen function don't hv d 'go down' function. 3rd, useless documentation. 4th organise, aftr u make few note on diff. date in d calendar, u cant view all d note in one goal like in d 3310 reminder, u only allow to view d particular date note only. The only impressive thing is the design (cyber look or new tech look)

I like it...but it's a little thick though for my taste. but however I like the fact that the recognition is so precise. and the addition of the chinese english ditionary is surprisingly entertaining. the features make it a must get phone...just bought a phone...definitely next on my list.

yeah,buy it...i bet in a few months time,they're gonna come up with another with an "i" by juz adding a function or two...not all nokia phones r good...not saying there r none but juz not all.to some people,not all nokia models have internal attennas.n for those who's complaining some phones to be called gay whatsoever,y dun u open a company n create ur own phone?7250i is still the best looking among all nokia models
