Austin, 11 Aug 2008i have got this cell recently and i changed the memory card... morehey austin.dont listen to anybody,i had da same problem.insert ur 512mb mc in to ur phone,then connect ur phone to ur computer,select data transfer then insert da route66 disc on to ur computer,once started then select backup on the route66 menu,then insert ur new memory card in ur phone,then go to the route66 page again and restore backup on to ur new memory card.lekker bru

volume control at 100% but can hardley hear caller (even the kids)

Hi, This is a good phone to have, Im using this phone for 8 months. My experience on this phone is the battery is not a good quality, I can charge it at night the follwing morning it says the battery is low (since Feb).
But other than that I Love my phone - for those who don't have it you don't what you are missing. Mabree

pkay guys i got a 6110 nav and i got a problem everytime i turn it on all i get is a white screen that reads nokia but when i open the camera slide the screen appears for a second then dissapears what is wrong with it???

GPS is network dependant simply cos it is Global poitioning and your network will be able to point out where you are on the GLOBE in Latitude/longtidute. Navigation is built into the handset itself.

You have to copy ALL files anf folders from your old memory cards INCLUDING the hidden files and folders.
To show the hidden files/folders, on your Explorer (on your PC), Click TOOLS on the main menu then select
Folder options. On the VIEW tab, select, select "Show Hidden files and folders". Select OK.
Now copy everything from the memory card as you normally would.

i have got this cell recently and i changed the memory card as was not satisfied with the 512 mb but now i dont have the maps can any one let me know from what site i can download maps or how can i transfer from old MMC

Guys, I've discovered something. Be aware that using some themes generally designed for S60 3rd Editiion (which 6110 belongs) bugs your Navigator application. So if your Navigator does not continue loading, try using the default phone theme. It works for me.

Karen, 04 Aug 2008Hi just got this phone & liking everything but the voice ta... moreHi Karen, I found the way to turn off the phone saying the caller's name. Go to Settings - Profiles. Choose the Profile you want and Customize. There you will find "Say Caller's Name" - Switch to OFF.

a Softwase update will not help.
Hopefully Nokia will detect the problem and issue new software.
In the meantime keep your phone on during weekends. The problem only occurs when the phone is switched of over weekends.
