Just a quick question.
I see many people are saying the GPS is free on this phone.
Is it free on the optus network?
I just think it might be free on some networks and some will charge you.
Because these days its hard to belive that anything is free.

My 6111 have problem with the display which turned blue after using for 8 month. the service centre replaced the LCD module.

6110 navigator for me is close to perfect, sound is even better than other models having music edition feature.That is why I wonder how its audio became one of its disadvantages.

Its a great looking stylish phone with lot of features. Bt 1 option lacks here. In conectivity,theres no wifi/wlan option.so,it misses ths great option.othrwise,its a superb phne.

I have been told that the GPS in South Africa is only free for two years then you have to pay for it. I am not sure if this is confused with some other system. I am getting my phone today so would like to know.

I do not have this phone yet but I am getting it and just to clear up for everyone. THE GPS IS FREE SO PLEASE STOP ASKING!!!

this phone is great and i'm loving it, but i think the GPS is a bit slow but then again it depends on the network coverage, haven't experience no problems thus far and been using 4 almost 2 months now.

to change to km and m you go to the settings and go to general and change units to metric

Hello, Can someone please tell me how to change the distance unit setting. the default is Miles and YARDS. I need to change to KILOMETERS and METERS.

How long does it take for you guys to connect to the GPS without Assisted GPS? Mine takes bout 5mins! Is that normal?

Hey guys
I'm wanting to know two things about this phone:
1) has anyone tried out GOOGLE EARTH on it. Surely because of the satelite connection you could use it for mapping, etc..
2) has anyone used Skype and Fring type applications - work well?
