because 6120 looks much better and 6124 is cheaper from VF.

This phone is really great, it has alot of features, the memory card comes with google maps, nokia maps and more. The battery life is kinda low, but I extended it to a whole 3 days on extensive use, and over a week on standby, simply lower the brightness, set the screen and power saving move to a lower time and set the phone to gsm / gprs when your not using the 3g, I still get a good signal aswell. Very good phone, I would recommend it to anyone

why have an mp3 player and up to 8 gb of memory when the battery life is sooo poor and the headset has no power?the sound is clear, but not loud enough--in my opinion.and also, ive tried to add the Philips stereo set from my other phone and with this one doesnt work right.
the display is incredible, the phone didnt crash til now on me(like other symbians tend to do from time to time)and the camera is not that bad.seen plenty of complains bout its quality but it does its job.you dont buy this phone because you wanna become a paparazzi

I was very reluctant to go for another nokia as I feel their build quality has suffered recently, however due to a company contract the 6124 looked the best phone.
So far I've had 3 handsets within 2 weeks due to problems.
On the first one the number 4 key was very hard to press and often acknowledged you'd pressed it twice instead.
The second one won't talk to my bluetooth headset (even though the first one would)
The third one has a very hard "c" (clear) key that needs to be pressed extremely hard.
I'm not impressed.
In the profiles you can't set the tone/volume of the "calendar" or "clock" alarms, so for instance even in "silent" profile you'll still get calendar or alarm clock alerts nice and loud!
There is only one place you can set the tone on or off and that affects all profiles regardless!!!
On my old 6280 you could set a profile for a period of time, i.e. put it into "silent" for a predefined time, so it will automatically come out of silent back into your normal profile mode. The 6124 doesn't have this feature.
Quite disappointed to be honest and it's just strengthened my negative thoughts about Nokia nowadays.

Just... moreI would recommand it because his features: Symbian 9.2 3rd FP1, 2mpx camera with flash, 369mhz processor and 64mb ram, great 2 inches 16m colors display. Battery life about 2-3 days, but if you use it hard every day (internet, games, music) then the lifetime of the battery is one day. It's very good for a Symbian phone(think at the first N95 which battery lifetime was 8hours). Price about 250 euros(with prepay), but the phone is exclusevly for Vodafone so you can subscribe at them and get the phone for about 100euros.

Hi!Can anyone tell me if this phone ring loud or not with mp3 ringtones, because I have my old Samsung and when the phone is in my pocket and ring I can not hear it very well :(

Did somebody managed to install Adobe Flash Lite 3.0 on 6124c? If yes, where did you get(downloaded) it? If no, why doesn't it work? I wanna install it to play the desktop version of YouTube on my phone, becuz my Flash Lite 2.0, which was installed on the phone from the beginning, doesn't play none YouTube versions(mobile or desktop) through video streaming and i know that Flash Lite 3.0, like that installed on the N95 plays YouTube. I wanna mention, i have an unlimited wap data plan, so not the traffic is a problem. I need some advices. Please answer. Thanks!

Can anyone please tell about 6124C volume level of mp3 and ringtone volume is it loud enough? Previous 6120C has very slow volume level. Is there any improvement in software or same like 6120 classic?
