I was given this phone by a friend - wasnt expecting much but really like it - just upgraded to Nokia 6300 but thinking of going back to this... a bit sad as its supposed to be a class beneath but I like the flip think more and functionality is the same.

wifi is similar to bluetooth but faster/bigger range - uses more battery so drain phone life and doesnt have so many apps/gadgets like headsets you can link up to.
BT do a service with this phone where they use the wifi to connects you internet for cheaper calls.

You'd think that with the 6131 and the 6133 that they'd improve camera the 6136. That is the only thing that annoys me. I have a 6131 and if they 6133 or the 6136 had a better camera i'd buy it tomorrow!

Who on earth would want to go online with a display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels?? Ridiculous!

The Nokia 6136 is not so good though it looks cool.
The Wi-Fi capability is only available with UMA, i.e. you can't use only Wi-Fi at will, at least with the current firmware.
Has someone found a way to hack the phone so that it can be possible to use Wi-FI independently of the operator UMA stuff ?
Please post about.

beware - this phone does not offer uma out of the box. it is network specific!!!! ie orange or tmobile or cingular have to enable the function from the network end, you cannot enable it from the phone - stick with the nokia e60 for an inbuilt sip client

Don't need Bluetooth!
I realy prefer Wi-Fi 802.11b/g! (54Mbps)

I thought Nokia's 6125 battery was 5hr talk time! (magic for 820 mAh? -Really bytheway 720 mAh!).
Here we have the twin of that phone with a more honest battery specs from Nokia!
3hr TALK TIME!
I just hope that most people who use Nokia, Motorola and Sony phones already know that this fact, thet if the battery between 700 and 100 mAh, then it suck! (especially on hig resolutions screan phones)
