this phone doesn't look good.. the front part looks like 6300 but i'd go for the design of 6300 than this fone.. and the flash is at the bottom of the camera.. it's just weird..

Different phones for different markets. It's that simple. I think the phone is dumb, but not every phone Nokia makes needs to be an uber phone. That's like expecting Mercedes to make every car like their SLR McClaren, it's dumb to think that's what everyone buys. Stupid.

sigh.. so its only for china?? no wonder it doesnt have the wifi. maybe nokia will produce the international version with wifi later on.. i dont mind the design thou

i understand trying to make that extra little bit of plastic hanging around on the back of the phone have some utility to it, but the phone looks ugly as tihs. as no wifi?? nokia, im sorry to say but u uncharacteristically dropped the ball on this one.. :(

It does not have wifi because is meant to the chinese market. The features are downgraded to hit a mass market, not a niche. Please understand that nokia DOES NOT have to make always the best devices around, they have to make some only for the profit. So, think with me: a touchscreen with a moderate price tag, under the brand Nokia, is gonna be a hit in the market... Dont' get me wrong, I don't like the phone also, but I understand why Nokia has made this one...
P.S: I'm waiting for N97, of course... But I will understand anybody who buys these one...

this phone is meant for china and thats the reason for not having WiFi.
how ever its reported that nokia is going to release in orher markets but no info about which markets are considered

Another stupid phone from nokia. nokia must stop making these handsets, it will ruin its name. nokia must put its pressure on E and N series, not these stupid phones. Sorry for nokia.

when i 1st see this device i thought it's Chinese duplicate made but it's not it's from NOKIA
nothing special just the touch screen although the Camera is 3 MP but for me i kind of got used to the 5 MP Camera...
so it's true... NOKIA testing the market by represent new touch screen device...
this should not go out for sale NOKIA should keep it and try to develop the touch screen tech from the inside they shouldn't released to the market
when the customers see this they will have 2nd thought about NOKIA touch device
we have 5800 already and N97 is coming soon.
just my opinion :)
