I own Nokia 6220. This cellphone, I think is one of the best nokia cellphones..complete accessories like camera and video, and it has EDGE technology(a faster way to surf the internet). This cellphone is so amazing! I really love it! Go NOKIA 6220!!

This phone Nokia model is great! It is complete in terms of features (camera, radio, video and even voice recording)that makes the phone fantastically beautiful. I haven't try to develop pictures coming from 6220 but I know it will be great! Why you won't try to have one?

5 months after using this phone!(see my message posted 2005-01-05)
my 6220 is still working awesome,
This is for those who are having second thoughts about this cell,N6220 still remains a kick ass .Its toughest and the best.this is the history of events that proves it.i have dropped the cell a couple of times.the frame and the shell was disturbed but i could easily put em back. my gal dropped it in a bucket of water, and it works as if nothing has happened!!.The cell used to restart automatically when connected to GPRS,that was resolved after the Nokia service centre installed the latest software.Nokia phones are the best compared to my Samsung phones.SAMSUNG PHONES ARE JUST A SHOW and not for FUNCTION.

I currently own a nokia 3200. I plan to upgrade to a more better fone viz. either the 3220 or 6220. I found Reliance's 6225 CDMA quite good. But since I would rather stick with GSM, kindly advise me which fone i cd possibly go for. Any other models than nokia would also do. However, I require camera, FM, GPRS, IR( a must ), Bluetooth ( would really add flavour ).. My budget can go to a maximum of Rs.8000/-

I own this phone. it would be great, but I bought it before it was released on ebay from japan, and as a result the mms and gprs does not work, which is my only gripe. Everything else is great, especially the durability. I have dropped this phone down the steps numerous times, one time the case split. I have even dropped this cell in the toilet. But unlike my D-410 (screen broke after rough sliding action) it still works like new.

I just bought the N6220.firstly i thought it was just an ordinary phone like the 6610 or the 6610i.i was not quite happy with the purchase, and planned to do an upgrade, but when i compared it to the 6610 and 6600 or the other like-standard model, N6220 is a complete kick-ass.it got amazing feautures like the high costing cell phones do.
its safe without a bluetooth the IR is way better!u have the radio unlike N6600 or 3220 or 7250/i
you can record your telephonic conversations.video recording for 20 secs voice recording, superior and loud output,
                      better pics in 4096 res.,voice dialing,incoming caller pic. display,loudspeaker etc/
the only bad about this cell is the GPRS connectivity which may restart due to network congestion.the .wav files is not supported.rest everything is perfectly fine.so if you lookin out for a high end low cost cell phone this is better.Indian wireless consumers can pick it up for 11900.the phone is also availiable in grey at no less than 8500/-

Accessories such as Front pad/plate and Back plate are hard to find. Not available and can not find it in the store or even at Nokia Accessories Dept.

Just to let you know i work for Vodafone and if you were to buy a phone from Vodafone direct i can assure u that it is not locked to the network.... Optus and Telstra do however.

Faraz, the phone you have is probably locked to it's original network,so if you bought it on Vodafone for example,it would only accept a Vodafone SIM. In order to get this cleared up you'd either need to get a SIM from it's original network,or you can have it unlocked, usually through small indepent phone shops,in the UK that'd cost you about £10-£15 or so. Hope this helps.
