Thanks Harrison, I will have a look though there.
I just got this phone the other day and am slowly adjusting to it, but 2 things annoy me. The first is that when you make a call, the call timer is not displayed on the main screen. The only way I can see how long I've been on the phone is by going into menu, then logs, then call duration, then last call (whilst I'm on the phone which is a bit tricky). Also, my sent text messages are not displayed in the Sent items, and when a message has been sent there is no confirmation display, so I have no idea whether the text was sent successfully.
Just two little things, but on the whole it's a good phone.

The 6233 will store approx 130 sms in the phone's memory and 9 on the sim card. As you said, you will not be able to move the msgs to a memory card. you can however download them to your computer but PC only and sadly, not a Mac, which is why I went instead for a Samsung E900 which stores 200 msgs. In all other respects, the Nokia with its superior user-interface is a better phone imho.

Please can someone let me know how I can configure the phone so that when I use WAP is does it through GSM rather than GPRS. Have phoned T-mobile a million times and visited stores but no one seems to know. Unknowingly I'd wracked up a phone bill of £50 using WAP on GPRS when it could've just come out of my monthly free minutes.

hey roger just wondering if you know how to get rid off the ascending ring tone without lowering the ring tone volume to level 4??

in regards to the color, they are both great but i personally prefer the back one. makes it look more solid and classic. 6233 rocks!

To ice, 6233 does not have bulit in flash, it has night mode which is good as any phone with a flash.. The internal memory is ok, but memory card is better. You can either get a 64mb or 1gb card. Happy hunting!

yeah i dun mind the silver finish. i have a black 6233 (god love it) hehe. The stainless steel finish is great, adds a touch of class to it. as roger said it does get the odd finger print.. But no phone is perfect, right??

Someone sent me a question, but i cant find the email addy now...sorry - I am posting the answer here ok? apologies.... uh hum././ Anyway....The silver/Chrome lining around the phone is nto horrible...I personally think it looks ok...Obviously it gets covered with finger prints when you're handling the phone, but a quick wipe and it is new again! So, no, it is not a major let down, i quite like it, and i think most owners of this model would agree....Anyone wanna comment on that? please?

TO the unnamed person below about text messages = I've just tried it and NO - i could not move messages from my inbox to the mem card - could only move to saved messages folder, within inbox, and it won't go anywhere else....sorry....
Anyway, i got about 100 texts, incl sent/received....Will keep and eye on how many it can take....Cheerio, roger

For those of you who have been crying for a review of this phone from GSMArena and anywhere on the internet, CNET finally posted it's review today July 24, 2006. The only strange thing about the review is that it's only a 2 page review whereas CNET's reviews are normally 4 pages upwards.
Whoever is interested can check it out at: http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/mobilephones/0,39051199,39097180p,00.htm
