Also, " i talk about 20-30 min, i listen up to 1 hour of music, take 10-20 pictures and finally play games arround 30 min EVERY DAY with my phone...i dont use umts...does the phone last 3 days with this" NOT very possible, but not impossible. Can't test it for you as I do not do all that with my phone....Anyway, cheerio! roger.

No, the Silver one is better looking as the chrome protection doesn't stand out as much as it does in the Black model :-)

hi! i like this phone...very much... i want to buy it... but... what is this that nokia called back this model - is this true?
a few days ago i heard that the phone has a heating problem when in use - true or false?

since 6233 is a 3G phone, so where exactly is the 'front camera' lense? can somebody please tell me how many times zoom does it have? does it play MPEG4 format as well?

Sachin: Yes, with Opera mini you should be able to use all normal html sites as well as N70 can. My 6233 is going to arrive tomorrow, cant wait after like 4-5 years with good 3330.

hahahah just found the anwser to my own question. the reason i can't send sound mms messages is because the phone only supports acc files and NOT midi, wav, mp3 sound files ect.... dammit :(

does anyone know why i can't send sound files via mms?? everytime i go to open sound files folder is say requested files not found or says unable to send selected files?? roger u might be able to help me out?? hehe

how many messages can this store? is this based on memory card capacity. i have 6230i but can only store 150 messages, is this the same? thanks

When i see this phone, i found that this phone got 2 speaker! Because i love to listen mp3!Wow...the sound is very good, and the phone very solid! I must get it Nokia 6233!

i bought this phone last week, it very friendly user and got many futures. The video camera is very outstanding.. i like it..

Hey Roger, thanks for the helpful hint!! Much appreciated. But i think i will stick to having no screen saver as my battery life is not the best atm. Do u know if it gets better over time, like after a few charges or something? Ta!

This is my 3rd nokia phone (after 6280 and n70) that tells my "sim card rejected" from time to time. I have to turn off the phone every time it does that. Somebody tell me, is this a problem of soft? From Romania - RESPECT!!

Hey guys. Got this phone a couple of weeks ago. Everything is brilliant. All nice and good. I also got a 1gb mem card for it (cheap on mobymemory) - loaded it up with 900mb of songs, and 100mb free for pics. Phones does not crash, and works perfectly well with it. Also, i had a few problems when the phone was out of range, not picking up network, (i'm on orange) then it'd find it only to restart on its own. It has not done so for over a week now. It only happened a couple of times, i guess it was some sort of network issue? I've also turned off the UMTS option to 1800/1900 network only, and this seems to be saving me battery. Currently i am charging my phone every 3 days, having used it for about 3 hours of calls, games, browsing and quite a bit of music playing. I think this is ok. Not too bad, i only hope it stays like this! cheerio lads and lasses, rog.

Hey Surferguy, This is because you've got your phone set to powersave. Go to seetings > display settings > power save > off. Then back to display settings > sleep mode > off. That should do it. However, this will drain your battery slightly quicker....one of the downsides of this feature. Cheerio!!!! roger

hey, just got my 6233. So far fantastic phone!! But have one prob.. I have set the screensaver to digital clock. the screensaver works for like 5 min then its just a blank screen?? does anyone know the cause of this problem or how to fix it??
