hi guys does anybody know is the 6234 can handle or support garmin gps mobile 10 i got a theory that is should work because software is written to the memorycard and the phone supports 2gigs?????????????

The phone is really GREAT! The only bad thing that I find to that phone is a poor image quality at night (since is have no blitz).
To Khurram: You cannot make more that one playlist, but you can organize your muzic in to directoy.
To nTun: The question is How big are the messages, because the phone have 6 Mb of memory (I have 86 messages...).
I've been using my 6234 for half a year and no problems with it!
The phone have a perfect sound, a good signal reception, a good radio receprion, battery lasts 3 to 5 days and I bought a 1 Gb memory card for less than 10 dollars... I bought a cable connection and a good thing is that I can acces the card directly with a very good speed.
I love this phone!

I think you can save things to the memory card. I hope so :P cause i have already ordered mine to find it is DELAYED.

Plz. tell me, like 6230i this phone also use its internal memory first to receive any file through bluetooth or infrared, as its internal memory is only 6 MB.

Perfect phone, battery lasts a lot (3/4days in my hands) and I keep on thinking that it does seem cooler in the hand than it does on the photos shown everywere. It has a great touch, the alluminium and the grip material are really good.
The only thing that is really BAD is the fact that you can't make playlists for your mp3 files wich really sucks because I have a 2Gig card and it would be verry helpfull...

Phne is great. I have had several phones in the past year, I buy them and within a month I hate them, had this phone for 3 months now and still love it. It looks good, it sounds good and most of all when I dropped it it never broke, unlike my samsung :(. Ita a really good phone worth every penny spent on it

Good phone, i have personally read every page of opinions and posts about this phone. Unfortunetly for me the stupid store has not got it in yet. I am defintly getting this phone, it is beautifal and i would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone.

From time to time , generally out of Auckland my 6234 will not send texts, message comes up "operation failed". What's wrong?

Like any phone this one can be unlocked to be compatible with any network.. i get mine in two days time, CANT WAIT!!

The Nokia 6234 is great value for money! It is packed with high-end features .It is not your average mid-range phone. This phone delivers! The phone has a large, bright colored & crisp display [QVGA-Display with 262.144 colours].The resolution is Awesome!! [250x320].The Nokia 6234 boasts with a 2 Megapixels Camera[1600x12000],Micro SD Card slot,3G,Media&Music Players, Stereo FM Radio, Bluetooth, mms, Infrared, email, Vodafone live,Mp3 & video ringtones…It has stereo speakers too.The audio is outstanding & sounds even better with the headphones.[Full….almost sounds 3D, stereo & rich bass sounds]The phones display is very high quality! The screen resolution is really GREAT! The menu has style & clarity. File transfer is very fast. Use it as a modem on your Laptop/PC… and your logged on to the internet in seconds! The camera is good , but if your a photographer…go for Canon instead ; ) Signal is great [Signal is on full most of the time[and that on dual networks].The phone is on the small side[only very slightly bigger than Nokia 6230i].It has a brushed silver look, with shiny finishes. It is not the best looking phone [very basic],but it is what’s on the inside that counts! It features touches sides with the best out there! It has small buttons on the front, but all of them are easy to press.The phones battery life is good. The Pc suite is very handy & user friendly.The text is a bit on the small side, but clear.Backlight stays on a bit short.I have to admit that on/off button is not great![It’s rather small,sinks in deeply into the unit when pressed & it’s response is slow to respond.It is not a springy & responsive feel...if you know what I mean. I have to admit that I have not had any problems with it up to now.[To those who have had problems…try a software upgrade - software related can maybe create bad signal, freezing, dropped calls etc…It could even make a phone look like a faulty unit. To give you an example - Look at what happens when Windows is not functioning to standard on your Computer…most other things will then act up as well.I have not had problem with this phone, and have to say that I am very impressed with the Nokia 6234 features & performance. This phone has all the features for business people, as well as for music enthusiasts out there. The phone is priced well and offers allot. There are not that many other phones out there that offers so much at such a low price. Well done Nokia!

@Gary + Hayley: You can cange the covers but you need to have a T6 Torx Screwdriver to undo the covers, which is a little tough cause it's suppose to be done by a professional. You can do it yourself but you just have to be careful when you do so. As for the original covers, I havent seen those yet. You can still the "like the original" from China. Unfortunately, Nokia 6233, which is the exact phone with different keypad layout, you can buy the original covers from L8shop.com
