Hey people,
I have had this phone for 2years now and have had no issues with it. Its a wonderful phone, especially the 3G feature. I actually use my phone as a modem to go onto the internet with pc.

this is a awesom phone, very loud, very quick , very strong and its a moderm aswell.
a nice big memory card is all you need

I used to like the phone b'cos my problem with the phone is that, the 2 loudspeakers of my 6234 do not work again after using it for only 6 months and I have searched for its antivirus but to no avail .

Decent camera, seems to be pre-focused at about 3m and not infinity. So good for taking photos of people. Not landscapes.
Video recording excellent 640 by 480 at 30fps with good sound recording.
Very loud ringtones. I use bat out of hell by meatloaf.
Big problem. The internal memory shrinks, when using internet, music player. vodafone live etc. Until I was unable to even send or receive a single text message.
Had Nokia Clear the memory and is was back upto 6.5Mb
now it is slowly down to under 3MB.

I have one for 2 years and reasonably satisfied. Camera quality not quiet upto what I was expecting. Dust collecting on the inside of the screen now making it difficult to see details in sunlight. Anybody know how to clean it?.

I forgot to mention below,, that 6234 is great, and the only replacement from Nokia that I can find which will replace this, is the 5800XpressMusic. I am taking one of these on contract and will have to see.I have a feeling that I will strugle to use another phone.

I took a 6234 on contract more than two years ago. Was so impressed I went out and bought another, two years back. I carry one with me and use it as personal. The other one lies at my computer and I use that as modem by means of cable connection with a DKU-2 cable which works 100%. I had trouble with Internet and email on my personal phone but that was because I had not installed net correctly. Only problem I find is the phones freeze at times but all these smart phones do that from time to time. just start again.
If these had better camera it would also help. I found that photos taken without zoom are fine and good when downloaded to computer.

I find the phone a bit dumped off, to have a Video calling feature whilse without a front rear camra..having to use the back for video...stupid hey

I have used the Nokia 6234 and i love it sooooooooo much. The camera is very sharp and clear and quick connectivity too.Probably try it, and you will get hook!
