btw... today i just drop my phone, yes i DROP my phone!!! but nothing seem to be out of trail, so far... so it is very durable, for this class of phone!!!

y people compare d600 with 6280 ? this is a compare between a different class of handphone, d600 is a hi-end 2.5G phone while 6280 is a 3G phone. it should only compare with the same class of handphone...

this phone is the best so I think any one who has a negative opinion doesn't know how to use the phone properly and does not obviously work in a Telstra Shop

I think it is very better if it have the stereo speaker. I want to buy this one but I don't because it have no stereo speaker. I like the one phone contain: Weigh not more 115g. Screen size 320 X 240 px with color 256K or 16M. Ringtone 64 channels with .mp3 play and stereo speaker. Cammara with flash 2Mpx. Blutoos technology. so I choiced Samsung D600.

I am having a Nokia 6280 phone, using in New York City USA, with T-mobile cell phone services. Nokia 6280 prompted me for the restriction code while I m using the phone. I’ve tried 12345 and 0000, it didn’t work, and it restricted me from using the phone. So, I shut it off and restarted the phone, then it back to normal. But 10 minutes later or 1hour later or 2 hours later, it prompted me for the restriction code again. So, I repeated the same thing (shut down and restart it again).
The second problem is Nokia 6280 restart by it self (it shut down and restart by it self) while I m using it.
The third problem I receive a text message with nothing inside (ghost text message, no detail) every time when I have a missed call or someone left me a voice mail.
Please help me to solve these problems. Thanks

found out mostly charge 1 per day, how u all use the phone through th day? long talk time, or play alot with it? or always on bluetooth, radio, music player? or just too many friend like to borrow and play :P?

if still hv pink spot, you better contact your phone vendor imediately!

left out the battery, first day i hv to charge after 6 hours, yes 6 HOURS non stop playing with the phone,
avtivity done:
-pair with the flaminGO headset, btw flaminGO is the best bluetooth headset (for me),
-navigate throughout the menu,
-have some fun with the snake III, not bad, i mean the game,
-camera time! a few flash...
-tranfer data with bluetooth,
-play we belong together MTV in the media player,
-test the loudspeaker with various type of sound(mp3, midi),
-around 20 min of call, and 2-3 min of video call.
normal fone call only last 3.5 hours, but it can function non stop up to around 6 HOURS!!!
but normally will need to charge after 1.5 or 2 day, as i love to play with my fone alot.

-been 1 week using the fone. once hang when the pop port unplug. once having problem with the gprs, settle after restart.
-firmware is v3.6, no bug being found yet...
have anyone think the slider is a bit loose?
-fast access, no lag, very smooth.
-i think the original menu layout is better than other.
-using sandisk 1gb mini sd, no lag accessing the memory card.
-i think is a bit thick, it is clearly visible if you put it in your pocket.
-some config deep into the menu, very hard to reach...
-very nice camera takes under day light(hv np to print at 4r or view at pc!!!), indoor camera noise level getting high, flash light is useful(for a distance of around 1.5m), few setting for the camera, y night mode and flash light cannot activate at the same time?
-love the screen all the time!!! gorgeous for anythings!!!
-miss realplayer very much!!!
-at RM1500(usd410, currently) a very good fone indeed, hardly find any fone better in functions, size, design, user friendly interface layout and the speed.

Is the Nokia 6280 meant to have a calculator/currency converter? If so, I can't find it!!! Can someone help. Am going abroad soon so would be useful!!

About the Navigation keys: Simply go to: ”Settings” and scroll down to ”My shortcuts”. In their, you can set how you want your left key, right key etc to act.
Yes, indeed, the battery life sucks!
Also, this unbranded version 03.60 is still having a lot of bugs!
For ex. My phone has restarted itself 4-5 times now. Every time, it makes me set the profiles, background pic and screensaver again. Damn annoying!
When reading a SMS; there is no time and date showing up! You don’t know when you received it, if you don’t enter “Options” and “Message Detail”.
After transferring data to the computer via PC Suite, the latest SMS is not at the top, as before. Instead, the latest one is at the bottom. (Compare this to old Nokia phones, you will know what I mean.)
After this transfer; the sad thing is, right now, my SMS-inbox is a mess. The newest one is at the top, and the oldest one is in the middle! How come?
My camera has one pink spot in the middle of the pic. If viewing in the computer or in full screen on the phone, you can clearly see this spot. Pics in a dark environment is really really bad! You can see blue and pink spots all over the pic!

this phone is 90% good. it has all the high tech features. if it's 3.0 mega pix and has wi-fi then this is the perfect phone. BUT one bad thing about this phone is it run out of battery in one day, and u must recharge your batter every night.

Oh dear what have i done??? Contract from vodafone nokia 6670 ran out beginning feb,been very unsure about what fone to get next for weeks cuz i'm a big nokia fan finally decided on the nokia 6280 even though only available on 3 network at the time.Very handy for video calling my brother on his ton weight n70 i thought! Read the reviews,in my opinion there was more good than bad. So 'yes' thought this was the fone 4 me. So i switch over network get phone home n start fone fiddleing BIG TIME!
Bit of a shock when im charging it up every other day when used to charge up 6670 8 or 9 days! Stupid place to put ur strap holder nokia! Only 2 numbers allowed to a name contact! Why don't all of my ringtones show up on memory card which i transferred when i want to put 1 to a contact? Wot's with all the empty files in the gallery (Images,video clips,recordings!)6670 had a wicked fileing system! Cant get me head round this navi key thing, i want my bluetooth on up alarm on down, calculator on left calender on right IS THIS POSSIBLE??? Wots all this active standby about? Nokia 6670 too buisness-i-fied 4 me,this fone is driving me nuts but want to keep it cuz its not too heavy n love the slide mechanism. 3 network is pretty cool cheaper than vodafone. Still keep wondering if should have waited few more months for n80!

this phone is a class act its 3g video call is suppose to be one of the best around. this phone is a very slick device with many features. this fone is great anybody who dissagrees is a prat lol get out there and buy one well worth it

I would say the sound is excellent, good crisp radio and MP3 player (the duff MP3 software is another thing is it is so so limited)

These Nokia 6280 ''slider'' is not like nokia 6111.... the mechanism to open and close is not the same.. simply don't compare the both phones... NOKIA 6280 is a High-class slider, nokia 6111 is not... so don't compare... they have different mechanisms.. try both phones in the stores, and see with your own eyes that they are very very different... so don't start to say rubish and don't talk about what you don't now..... TRY BOTH and THEN SAY TRULLY THE BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH..... HASTA
