i think im the only one ( i feel so dumb ) but for anyone having problems sliding the back off, you push it from the bottom (right at the bottom where the curvey side is )
i had to goto the 3 shop to find that out *smacks forehead*

Does anyone know when the 6280 will be available in China? What material is the casing made from? Is it a better look and feel than the 6270? Should I buy the 6270 which is available or the wait for the 6280? Is the video capture on the 6280 better than the 6270 and in what way (no techie explanation please just say whether it is a clearer picture or not?) Are the speakers on the 6270 better than the 6280? And finally can you save photos taken on both the 6270 and 6280 as screensavers? Many thanks for any response Guys?

yea...the phone battery is too good....i think i can get a day and a half off it...but thats it...i mean, i need to be careful of what i am doing to achieve that result!!
After this few days of using the mobile...
i hav experience some restarting problems, and sometimes the phone changes my ringtone settings.......thats annoys me a lil...

plug headset---> get to the FM radio menu-->u can change frequency with up and down.....
I hope the NOKIA site will update soon, so i can get more themes and download back all the games.......

Nup....It's not you, battery life on the 6280 is pretty crap......
same as me, lucky to get a full day out of it....pity because it is such a kewl phone

is just me or is the lifespan of the battery less than one day? its not like i use the phone extensively or is this because the battery is brand new?
ive recharged it with the fone off (when i got the fone) and fully discharged it and recharged it again.

just a couple of pro's and con's for those who are thinking of buying this phone.
Pros:
-Looks great
-2MP camera
-Large Screen and colours
-3G support
-Bloody cheap
Cons:
-Back slide is so hard to take off. I think mine is stuff, anyone else having same problem?
-Picture quality from camera is not that great compared with SonyEricsson
-No games installed???

hi all i just wanted to see if this phone comes with installed app. like pic,video,melody editors??what about the new series 40 is it so weak compared to the other series 60 phones like the n70??which one is better??

Seems to be a few other options as well, new batteries, new covers even new LCD...wow
looks like the front cover comes off so that might solve the problem....
still can't find out how to transfer the files across, says the phone is conected but won't let me transfer them across...it's like the phone is locked or something..Hmmm

Seanix .. I've seen a case but stupidly it protects all the phone but doesn't cover the screen and it's £15.00 or I've also seen this

Hey all....
Haven't read anything about this one yet so it must be me....I have installed all the software, connected the phone to the computer through USB, Nokia PC Suite says it's connected to the 6280 but buggered if it will let me send anything to the phone. Is there a setting in the phone I need to adjust or am i doing something wrong ??...
and yeah I know what everybody means about the backlight going off to quickly, it's a pain in the butt !!.....surely there must be a way to adjust it ????
one more problem....because they have only released the phone and no cases i have been carrying my phone in my pocket...when i pulled it out today there was a heap of dust under the glass.....Hmmmmmm...
P.S.......Where are the games !!!!

supabo .. back slides off easily just push on the shiny strip and up it goes
sam ... to remove any logos on the screen go to settings - display - standby mode settings - slide animation (turn off)
now can anyone tell me how to keep the backlight on longer???
