Dear QASIM,as you have already mentioned ur charge dont last too long even you have changed ur battery.I think its your power IC problem as the required voltage does not pass through the charging unit.I also faced the same problem.It Costs 15 dollar to recover it.Now My phone is fine

(hope this one helps!) for those having problem with Camera Operation failed on their Nokia 6280
For those of you having problem with Camera > "Operation Failed" on Nokia 6280 standby well the main reason is because you need to replace the ribbon that connects the lower and upper part of the phone. This is based on my personal experience and according to the Technician who fixed my phone, its like a normal wear and tear for people who has slider phones or even clamshell phones. I Guess it applies to other brand of phones as well.
After he replaced the the ribbon thingy, its back to normal again. Downside is, he replaced the ribbon twice coz the first one he placed has a backlight problem so he did change it again. By the way guys if you can acquire an original Nokia replacement part then much better. I spend only $19 for repair by the way. Cheap huh?!
Now since I have learned the disadvantage of owning Slider phone, now's the time to reconcile to the Candybar phones... Huhuhu! :-(

probably the worst phone ive ever had in my life, most of yous hav mentioned the problems i have cum across, the battery keeps sayin low when i charged it up for like 2-3 hours,also the phone just switches off on me many times in the day which is annoying! i have decided no more nokias after this one!

Please help me so that I can be using the Camera of this phone cause he has a very good resolution. I don't know how I can reformat this phone in order to have everything as fresh.

Very good phone but the problem i have with it is that i don't know if d front lense is meant for front camera bcos my own have no front camera. Also music player option is not on my phone, what can i do. Contact me on Mosolat@yahoo.com

I have the 6288 version of this phone. Nice to hold and use and the sliding mechanism is very well made. The phone interface is also quite fast and intuitive.
The only issue i have is that i need to manually transfer downloaded files from phone memory to the memory card.

I really like the phone,but the problem am facing is just that it is JAVA phone and not compatible with SYMBIAN softwares.As a phone frick,i like to pimp my phone with most current softwares and applications.Oh! Just too bad.

my phones battery doesnt last long if i charge it for 2 or 3 hours it only lasts for abot maybe 1 hour or if i charge for half an hour it lasts for 20 minutes

I have bought 6280 about one month ago. i used different types of nokia mobile set. but i think this has some problem. it\'s charge dose not go a long like others set. and this set has a another logo. So do u know anybody that is it nokia original set?

hi there. I had this bad experience regarding my 6280 nokia phone. There this time that Im using its video camera then its automatically turn off, when I open it-its blinking with black and white cored then shot down. Then after every time I try to open my cp, its just blinking and shot down. Can anyone answer me and teach me how to reprogram/reformat my cp. Coz the last time I went to cp tech he juz insert an usb wire and its done. I cant afford anymore, so pls help me. I love my cellphone much.
