XYZ,what makes you think these are flagship models? these are just how all mid and high end range phones are going to be now, there will b a symbian slider soon anyway.
MRBR19HTSIDE, series 40 actually does support thems just look at 6230i and the new series 40 3rd edition was ment to be series 50 but nokia jus kept the name its complitly different (in a good way) it will still be like series 40 and easy to use but much more features and really really better looking try looking at the screen shots on nokis website

I would personaly take the N70 phone or any N-Series phone, rather than this one (or any of the others introduced with this one)! I'm very disappointed to see no Symbian on this phone! That's why it lacks flexability!

it was kinda of a waste tt dis phone has got such high screen resolution of 320 x 240 and 262k colors but isnt workin on Symbian OS..dere goes the possibilty of themes and all..besides its a 3G phone..Don u guys agree? Symbian is reli useful..Anyway i'm reli wondering hw good 6280's mp3 quality is as compared to N90's..

Coming to know that 6270 and 6280 run on the Series 40 Third Edition, i immediately went back ogling on the Nseries (particulary N90!).

Nokia has done a very wrong turn by introducing Series 40 Third Edition on the 66270 and the 6280.
Both are supposed to be business phones so they should have the flexibility of the Symbian OS wich is known to support many other Third-party applications
Even if they wanted to bring their Series 40 back, they should introduce it on lower-end phones, but not their flagship mobile.

Is the N-series better or these slide phones? I'm still thinking whether to go for N70 or this phone.

thank nokia for their 2nd slider phone and also improved technology.. i will defintely get this!! i have a Samsung D500 right now, but nothing will satisfy me more than a nokia slider, 1st of all the 7650 never worked in the U.S. because it was only dual band.. finally a tri-band nokia slider with a 2mp camera, xpanable memory, mp3 player and many more.. thanks to nokia!!

y do u need poly ringtones when u can use mp3 as ringtones. and y do u guys wan symbian os, beside the downloading of software part, symbian os sucks. reaction time slow and it hangs. as for the memory, 'jo' is right, 1gd miniSD cards are much cheaper den the sony memory sticks and so much smaller also. And many are right with the slide design, Nokia started it 1st, people that don't know all these, stop crapping ur nonsense here. get ur facts right before u even lay ur opinions!

Nokia was the first one to make a "slid in" design, so actually they don't copy samsung.
But i think that they don't deliver att features in one pack...

AT last a decent phonw from nokia with a massive screen tat isnt symbian- but the 24 polys shud be changed from 24 to at least 64- SE hav got 72 now !!!!! and probably wont appeal to neutrals as much as D600 (not me- i am nokia fan) it is much bigger- better style but d720 really is a decent handset

1man, this phone does have miniSD dont speak unless you know what you are talking about you obviously know nothing about phones to really think nokia would put a 2mp camera with 10mb memory. the phone actualy comes with 64mb miniSD look at the Nokia data sheet for the real specs. dont just chat. and how can you people say it looks like samsung d500?? its a slider how much different can it look?? look at clamshells and candybars they aint copying noone its just they are similar form factor. its a phone its a very good phone so stop hating.

Nokia will never stop this money of business. And it will never ever get 1 phone which complies every option available. On the other hand SE K750 is cheaper, better in camera performance, older, smaller and alot more and yet people are tricked by Nokia.

                                    bye
