This is my second 6280 my first only lasted a week and then had software problems exchanged it for a new phone (same) after a month started playing up. Now completed stopped working - only had it two months. The worse phone I have ever had!!!

Have u transferred your stuff to your memory card? Your fone doesn't do it automatically. Move pictures & music etc over to your card and you should be okay.

Hey people, this phone is good, loud MP3, good/fast camera overall everything is good, apart from that is breaks down once a week. Just dont buy it! Unless u dont mind sending it away every freakin week! I've takin' mine back 5 times, its terrible!

nokia 6280 is a amazing cell it works like a i pod for me .i have 2 gb card in this phone without any problem .

Guys can plss help me I dowld few theme and when try to apply it the phone will reject it and says memory not enough delete some data... i alredy delete some data in phone memory and im using 128 mem card. but when try to save it the phone still show the same error msg can plss help me.TQ

well,i heard many nice and many ugly opinions about nokia 6280...i wanna to buy it but i ain't sure now...please i need advice from someone who really has this phone for a while or knows about that phone?! thanks

lol i got a motorola v3x for free from my friend and traded it for nokia 6280. It has great video recording, just bad sound recording. If any of you like 2 mega pixel video recorder phones, i prefer this one. the video quality is really good and not laggy like my old motorola v3x. This phone get too much dust under the screen also, good thing i know how to open the cover.

some one plz help me. i got my 6280 5-6 months now.
strange things are happening to me from my 6280.key padlock, my blutooth off, infared off, my 6280 download data several times that cost me over £150.i never try or make no attemp to download data and uses t-zone on my mobile.
battry dont last for a day, it start dropping calls when talking. it shut down then rebooth itself.
i sat at a table all by myself with my 6280 infront of me with slide close key padlock on, blutooth off, inferad off some one call saying that i just rang their number. i didnt call any one.i check my last call dial only to see that my 6280 did call the number from my contact without me making the call.

This is a great phone! I love using it. This phone has the best video and imaging for a 2 mega pixel camera (except for very close-up and macro shoots). It's video quality beats even n73(which has a 3mp cam). Check n73 review if u don't believe me!!
All about this phone is great but but but.... only one feature let this phone down!!!! and i consider that feature of utmost importance (for me!!). The disappointing thing about it is you won't be able to send international sms from this mobile. i don't know what's wrong with this mobile but it doesn't allow to send int sms. If i'm the only one unlucky to have this problem then i must be really very unlucky.
Does anyone out there have the same problem??? I guess no has ever cared for this!!! Newys.. everything else is gr8 about this phone!!!!!

erm any1 changing from this to other phone, but still miss it's features and capabilities, i urge you to consider for nokia new 6288, a correction to this crap phone. much better slider, same feature with added bonus, same huge screen and comes in full black colour. :0 ty

This phone is a piece of crap as the other opinions reads... DONT buy this.
After a year with lots of struggle to get the software sorted out, I need to buy a new phone. Thanks heaven my insurance pay out... this is really the worst phone of Nokia. What can I buy now? I feel like looking to a other brand eg Sony Ericsson or is there still good Nokia phones???

too bad in some countries, they sell defective 6280 handsets because here in our country, we get good quality phones! take that!

i thought this phone was RUBBISH!
after the first week or two i had to send it back because it asked me for my activation code which was none of the numbers the shop told me when i rang them up!so with this i was not able to acces/use my phone.then i got a new one and the problem happened again then i managed to swap the memory card for a bigger size allowing me to manage moe files on it.a couple of months later another problem accured causing me to not be able to listen to music through headphones soo off again i sent it back to be replaced. after 3 weeks i retrived my phone but the same problem accured!by this time i was really annoyed! sent it off they gave me a new phone, even with this phone i still have alot of problems with the activation code and it switches off and will not turn on and lots of others! i am not able to change my phone because i have not had it for a year:(

the phone is a pice of trash that nokia must have found in a drain. my fone forever just goes dead, the slide doesnt work, itsw just a piece of crap.
