This Phone really rocks. The slider mechanism is good in my phone. Video recording is brilliant and Camera works very good in day shots. Music player when used with external headset like HS 28 from nokia which is used for N91 sound really good with this phone. Last but not the least the display is superb. And to the conclusion the phone for this price is really worth, compared to other N series phones from NOkia

i have nokia6288 for about 2 days it's a great phone verry cool and a nice disply a good video camera but a bad photo camera for a 2 mega pixeli

i converted videos 2 3gp at more than 256 bitrate ,but while watching the videos it is not playing smoothly(small struck).i think 6280 don't have this problem........while it is converting videos at bitrate 512.

this isn't a smartphone so if you're more on installing .sis files for applications and games then don't get this phone. but if you're just on java ganes then get it ^_^

6280s that were branded by telcos had have problems becuse of poor memory management or something like that, if you're gonna buy a 6280 that is not branded then it should work properly
6288 had a major firmware upgrade that somehow solved the said issue I guess ^_^
Either phone should be identical though the 6288 is more updated when it comes to its firmware and the likes..

no it doesn't have autofocus
its video is its selling point, it can record .3gp and mpeg4
