A: I don't quite understand question. There is java support in your phone, and you can execute java applications. You can download these for example through your phone WAP/xHTML/HTML browser.
Or then download with computer and transfer to your mobile over data cable or bluetooth. In Nokia PC suite there is Application Manager, via which you can install applications.

had this phone for 3 weeks then sold it. Cheap build, poor slide, s40 software sux, people on other end could not hear me, static, camera is awfull. video is good however. 6233 is a better choice

hey guys,awesome phone
just with mem space,it has 6meg
phone will hold only about 50 sms in in box and 50 in sent then says mem full can send aything till delete to make space.anyone know how i can free more space to hold more sms

hey..
6288 is more attractive compared to the 6300..
the 6300 doesn't have a front camera & flash unlike the 6288..as per the nokia site ,6288 comes with 512mb card & 6300 with a 128mb..6288 has better audio qality..the OS is the same S40 3rd edition on both phones..both phones being the same in functionality..it's upto you to decide whether u want a sexy slider or a sleek business phone..

Some answers:
raull: The 3G could be used when 'video calling' somebody, for example. Depending on the network, the user could make the video call only if he has the right subscription (on some networks this is not needed), the right phone and the 3G coverage.
Nell: For example, my phone (including the 2GB card) could hold on it approximately 5500 images at 1.3 Mpx resolution.
skejpa: No autofocus for the N6288.
