The phone has no symbian.In order to take off the back cover,you have to slide it forward.Not easy

hi. i used to own a 6630. just to confirm, i heard this phone has a symbian operating system. any idea how good it's symbian version is ? is it on par to any other phone's symbian version. if u do hve, please email it to me thanks !

the speaker doesn't function without problems. most of the conversations in handsfree mode are very crackling! Nokia says it's a familiar problem according to the 6288. if I were you, i won't buy this phone (warning)!

W: you have also the autolock option to set ON inside the phone setup menu. in this case it will auto lock when the slide is off.

VV: The phone will not autolock when it is slide off. Instead, the menu button will change to lock and you would need to press it in order to lock the phone.

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago. It is a good phone overall. I find if you use the mp3 player the battery tends to drain down quicker but overall an excellent phone.

Please let me know about security option with Nokia, compare to Motorola E1000, V3, SLVR, L7,... (phone lock code and aplication password protect)
Example: With Motorola model, when someone borrow my phone to dial, he can not check my previous calls, miss calls or my messages. because i gain password to their option.
Please let meknow with Nokia model. Thanks
