Hey people this is a phone not a computer . What is wrong with you . From opinion Nokia 6300 is the perfect phone for everyone . I have a Nokia N95 and 2 days after i bought it i got the Nokia 6300 . I never used my N95 :) Buy a Nokia N95 if you want to surf on internet , check e-mails , messengers ... etc . If you want a phone to talk send messages and other things buy the Nokia 6300 and don`t buy the 6301 because of the WiFi conection . And also i see that many people complains are about battery of the 6300 . Mine is perfect sometimes i forget that i have that i have to charge it . Don`t buy phone because of the technology inside by the phone that you like the most (design side) because a phone is made to talk and send messages not other things . Sorry for my english :)

coool phone!!!! but poor memory can't open blog in the mobile properly and also series 40, which is very bad. Why does not nokia think as our requirement.
But rest of the phone is excelent, good for youth.

You are all complaining about how it is useless to surf the web on this, which is VERY true. The browser I would imagine would be slow as hell, and the small keyboard/screen/ poor battery life would make it not worth it.
HOWEVER, having this implementation of WiFi includes UMA, which means that you can use any hot spot instead of your carrier, and hence not pay for minutes. I believe this needs to be supposed by the carrier... T-Mobile in the USA does support this feature. Also, having WiFi on you phone will be nice if you want to save on data charges to check email and what not.
This is a step up from the 6300.

Hmm.. wondering will coogee support this. If you're wondering what Coogee is, it's MSN for S40 phones. Seems like I'm going to jump to the S40 from S60.

1. For the love of God, kids, just try not to be so stupid and stop repeating posting the differences between 6300 & 6301, there are specifications for both of the above, anyone with the reading abilities can check them out.
2. Wi-Fi - fine, but why would we want it in a non-OS 6301, to surf the net with a xHTML browser??? Makes no sense at all.
No. 1 mobile company, try to be more creative, and stop underestimating your (potential) customers.
Thanks.
