it is great i have been using it for 1 year concerning the battery well mine is made in japan and it is working 3 to 4 days without recharging its a great phone and i have no problems

Hi, I just got the phone. It is cool but not sure about the battery. It has Wi-Fi feature. Like a small laptop on ur hand. The pic quality is the best I can c. If u have a 2 yr contract. It gives rebate.

On the Nokia website it says that the card slot is good for up to 2gb. I have a 4gb card in my phone and it works fairly well. The only problem is that sometimes when I'm scrolling through my 770 songs, it says "application error", and puts me back to the music menu.

Habana, 21 Dec 2008I'v been having the 6300 for some time now,only problem is ... morehabana is does play wma all u got to do is syconorise the files on ur pc or laptop usin windows media player it wrks i tested on 3 fnes!!!!!

Mine came with a Nokia BL-4C battery made in China, which as others have pointed out, doesn't last long. I swapped it out for a Nokia BL-4C battery made in Japan that came from another Nokia phone I was no longer using, and the phone started working as long as other phones I've owned. I think they just bundle this phone with a crappy battery.

can anyone cite the main disadvantage of thi... morei just got this phone, and its awesome!
the only problem i have had is that the battery does not last as long as i am accustomed to. that may be because all the cool features are addictive and i can't stop playing with it, but its something to keep in mind none the less.

If its true that the wifi feature is just for voip and not to surf,can you give some softwares for this purpose? thank you ahead!!!
and another thing,does it plays video (mp4)?if yes,is it okay or it hangs up?

hello to all!
can anyone cite the main disadvantage of this phone? I would be very happy to hear some opinions of those who had used it.
please! because I'm planning to buy this if I'll hear good feedbacks. (I'm about to buy nokia 5310 but I changed my mind after hearing many negative feedbacks like it restarts itself,keypad wont work and many more.Some said it's a faulty phone,and many many more negative feedbacks!)

Haitham , 07 Dec 2008this one doesnt have WI FI .. as you wrote . If you gte ther American 6301 provided by T-Mobile USA, it does have WiFI which is compatible with their T-Mobile@Home mobile service.

Chris, 03 Dec 2008no this is not a phone with wifi option man Thank you Chris for the info. I was going to have this unlocked and istall skype. i think i go with either e65 or e51.
