First of all I would like to comment on the Camera, if you read the online review on here they will tell you that the camera quality is below par, I don't know if that's because they only tested a beta handset. Either way for a 3.2MP camera it's great! I've taken pictures in the dark and they have mainly come out good, a few bad ones (but that can be expected, whit the fact that it's a phone not a compact camera). The pictures I have taken in sunlight/natural light have come out just fine, they are nice and sharp and show colour well.
The phone does run on S40 which I don't have a problem with, theirs lots of neat features within applications that i've never seen before (probably because this is only my second Nokia handset) for example adding videos or photo's to text messages is made much easier because they have added a bar at the bottom of the text that allows easy access to your files.
The Nokia Maps application is fantastic and is actually really quite quick. Along with Nokia Maps there is an application called 'widsets' which allows you to add items to the application so you can keep up-to-date with a number websites for example: Ebay, Push email, Facebook and so on.
I do find that the phone lags a little bit, but this can only be expected with mobile phones that have an actual opperating system. But you soon get used to this and I tend to not find it a problem.
I am a big fan of listening to my music on-the-go and to be honest the music and radio player are more than up to task, the rendtion of sounds is really good and to be honest I can't tell the difference between my Creative and the 6600 appart from a few bass notes that are produced differently here and there.
The actual working of the phone is nice and you find yourself sliding the phone up and down repeatedly, a feature I like is the 'double tap to mute' and show time. It doesn't make using the phone any easier, it just makes the experience of using the phone 'nicer'.
The screen is fantastic and produces colours really well. The design of the phone is actually much nicer that the pictures portray.
Overall? 8.5/10

I finally decided in getting 6600 slider against all bad reviews. I had mine for only a week and Im completely satisfied with it, to all first time user, read the manual carefully to appreciate the phone. Its a conversational piece because of its cool styling, i recommend BUY, you wont regret it.

i really liked slide compare to fold because this is too stylish and cool,my friends and i prefer this than fold,but whats more beautiful slide or fold,coz they say that fold is too easy to break and my opinion this is more beautiful,pls answer,tnx

its design is really fit and performance is fit. i really like its cuteness. camera results are fantastic and message can easily be typed. i really loved it from the bottom of my heart and every 1 is inspired from my cell.

Nokia 6600 is great.The features are fantastic.as a matter of fact my first lady is getting crazy about it,she is equally a nokia frick like me.NOKIA more grease to your elbow.

This device significantly raises the standards of build quality with its superb metal finish and outstanding display. Its range of features is also very welcome incorporating 3G, a very competent camera with VGA video recording capability and additional extras including a quality headset. This is a sound investment for anyone wanting a quality well designed device. Strongly recommended.

Only been using the phone for 3 mths .. And I am already consider getting rid of it .. So if u haven buy yet then dun buy !! Unless u only use it for calling or answering .. Otherwise dun need to consider this model .. x_x

Is the Finland model genuine? Are there fake models of the finland made nokia 6600?
