im really confused which 1 2 buy 6630 or 6681?i need a gud stereo mp3player n 1.3mpx cam.but therz a price difference of 4.5k(rs)between the 2.plz help me asap..

Bought this phone some 15 days back.
No problem whatsoever till now. Also played with photo editor and movie creator softwares which came along with the 64MB memory card. Camera is good in bright environment. We can't expect much from the camera because its only 1.3MP.
Little bit slow sometimes.

very very very super very bad camera resolution. 6600 camera's better. don't buy this fone guys, i'm going to sell my 6681 and go for alcatel OT S853, i heard it is coming up this month. anybody knows if alcatel OT S853 has come to jakarta-indoesia. i can't wait this fone. rock

I want to buy a Nokia 6681.Before i buy read some of customers opinion about this set.70% to 80% customer wrote lot of problems with this set(like camera pixcels and software).And some customers said very well.
At first i want to buy 7610,after watching the features and model and color(EB)of 6681,I decieded to buy a 6681.
Pls can U give some suggetions about my opinion.

what is the difference between 6681 and 6630. because 6681 is more expensive than 6630 but i can see nothing different except small things for exp. 256 k display in 6681. what is the reason for this price rate ??

i am still thinking that nokia phones r a very good experiences for cellular users
even if there some disavantage there is a lot advantages

iam one of the nokia owner since i decide to have a cellular phone i have buy 6600 after 15 days of releasing it and nokia 6670 and 7710 and 6630 and finally 6681
and that my comments for that phone:
1- a very low performance of camera resolution
2- a very good internet experience
3- a very good modem if u use it as a modem to browse internet through ur pc or laptop
4- a very good handy phone
5- a very bad resolution of photo when making zoom but u will see a very good zoom options and te photo on the standard mode r good
i think that time for nokia to take the next step action to have a better camera and really it's will be the most ever good phone
by the way if u want a camera u have to try sony ericsson K750i and W800 and other of sony ericsson as it become a very good competitor for nokia

Been using this Cell 4 the last 3 mnths.. After experiece I've come to a Conclusion tht its one of Nokia's Best Model!!!
My Favourite Software App. is the Music Player which cam alongwit the installer on the Mem Card.(I have the SIS file on my Comp) it looks just like an IPOD's Navigation Button. apart frm de preloaded Ones I've intalled (ALL FULL VERSIONS)SmartMovie 2.76,eFileManager.v2.2,Stools 1.82(to get rid of Op Logo), FsCaller 3.03,Smart Guard Prov3.00,CallRecorder.v1.03,eprofiles.pro.v2.24,WChanger1.03,SmartCom.v1.02,mobile.mouse.v1.10 & sum games>>>Wel dey all wrk Fine:>
my firmware v 3.10.6.>>>Just got 2 know tht version 4.00.15 is been available at our local Nokia Centre...I read sum Fixes they've done on this version. i'l just Pen down sum of them

does anybody know how to turn on the keypad lights. . Is there any other way. By pressing any key the keypad lights are not switching on.The only way I know is by pressing power botton, but it's quite unusual.

this phone is still 600 euro in romania! why? it's a crazy! i buy a laptop with this bag of money. which is the latest firmware version for this phone now in october.

i cannot get round receivin calls by their stored identities, ie names.always only their numbers appear. this is cripplin since with ma job i need to know who is callin before i can pick a call most of the time, and i certainly cannot memorise all these numbers!Somebody PLEASSSE HeLP!!!

I got a 6681 2 months back and installed some applications like fileman s-60 but soon after the phone has become instable and started giving problems. Some appz(like adobe reader,muvee)have stopped running. Is it some bug What should i do . please help

i own the nokia 6681 and the technical support is no good. i emailed them nd asked a simple task of getting the software emailed to me but they wouldnt send it and offerred me to call them. I work all day long and they close at 7pm est. Im really starting to think I should have researched about the phone before purchasing. atleast motorola provides technical support that is beneficial to a customer. i needed the extra software that came with the device b/c an idiot that i worked with took my memory card out of my phone when i let him check out the phone. all i need is the extras that came with the phone b/c the nokia site doesnt have all the software available for customers to download. if anyone has the phone and the original extras that come with the software please email it to me...slimturk69@hotmail.com...my next choice of a cellphone will not be a nokia if i dont get the software before my ext cellphone purchase which i like to do every 3-4 months.

this phone is the best phone for those who wish to have 6680 but dont need to use 3G.
as for why the 512 rsmmc cannot work i think u have to check whether the card is dual voltage or not as this phone needs a dual voltage rsmmc card not normal rsmmc.

this fone's gr8, it's the best fone i ever had. i used my 6681 for 'bout 2 months.
-never hang
-solid body [excluding the camera lens cover]
-gr8 color resolution
-good battery life
-good connectivity [w/infra red would be
better]

yes it plays mp3 as ringing, messaging, e-mail and alarm tone. loud and good sound. trust me.

Hi, I am using this phone for 3 weeks now and I love it. there is just one thing. I bought a 512 rs mmc and it would not work. I called nokia usa and they told me that the maximum it can get is 128 and the card should be nokia as well. i have read through some other opinions that state that this phone can have a 512 chip. By the way my phone is not a 6681 but a 6682. Can someone help me with this issue? Thank you
