hi, about the zoom problem I've opened the nokia and phisically cut the sensor's fpc. now the phone works great. bye from italy

for any one with the zoom in and out problem its simple just open the to screws and take of the front face an cut the brass strip and the phone is sorted

Can't we try kevin's advices about installing the magic key and get the problem fixed?
I don't know why n0kia still st0p from fixing it?it must take the types of this phone and fix it?
unfortunately,it's design very well but HAVE TWO PROBLEMS just that.
I think this problems appearing from wrong using of Zooming bar,Right?

do not under any circumstances buy the 6710 nav its the worst phone nokia ever made buttons not working zooms in and out when it wants i have it in pocket and the supposed sweat from working in 5 deg has destroyed 2 screens no warranty get real nokia

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!
I've had nothing but trouble with it... have to press keypad buttons up to 3 times to get a response, zoom automatically comes in when I'm viewing pics & keeps disconnecting from bluetooth device.
I've had it only 9 months & supposedly fixed 4 times, I've had a guts full of Nokia & taking it up with consumer affairs now.

could somebody tell me how can I turned off "sellect conection". every time on my screen there is an application which is trying to find WLAN to connect on internet.I want to turned it off and not to search for internet every second!!!

Got one last fall but bought a simple SonyEricsson T715 after a couple of months out of frustration over this very strange piece of work. Not easy to use, doesn´t want to download talking Swe language, loads of bugs, unlogical and inconsequent menu system. Not happy with it so I suggest for instance a SonyEricsson, which I wouldn´t have guessed me saying a couple of years ago.

Me va fataaaaal. Desde que lo adquirí no me ha dado más que problemas: el zoom a su libre albedrío, la gente me llama y le sale fuera de cobertura o apagado cuando realmente lo tengo encendido, la batería malísima se acaba muy pronto, al escribir mensajes va lentísimo y tengo que pulsar varias veces las teclas, no responde cuando pulso las teclas en muchísimas ocasiones. Es un desastre de móvil, no se os ocurra comprarlo: TIMO ABSOLUTO…
Nokia debería hacerse responsable de todos estos móviles defectuosos…En la edad de piedra tenían mejores comunicaciones…
