can it 3rd party softwares be installed in it? i want to install a software which can block calls and sms from different no.s. like e52. is it possible on it? plz guys suggest me some solution!

I have had the phone for 7 months now since december 09, first impressions, good, after 5 months got shot down with the 'epidemic' zoom bar problem. I really like the phone, it is powerful and has a nice cam. Anybody please give me advice on what to do with the zoom bar problem and I have the 022.013 firmware update.

The phone (6710 Navigator) is excellent in many respects, really nifty to use and very small for all its capability and a great price/features package to compare with anything in the market!
But it has apparently with many individual phones the same two problems:
1. excessice zooming
2. sometimes the buttons need harder push to work.
For the first problem I heard from a Finnish forum that the blame would be the plastic (original) screen cover that came with the package. The service cure reportedly is that they install a metal sheet underneath the screen (not a hom made remedy I might add!). I was wondering is simply the removal of that film will help???? Has anyone tried? Please let us know!
The second (push harder) button problem is maybe a feature rather than a fault as such. Many of the phone models (Nokia, Siemens, Ericsson, etc.) have similar problems even on early moodels.. it depends a bit about persons fingers and what is considered hard push and what is not. But I admit it irks when suddenly you need to press harder when your prevous application was a lighter push.... go figure.... it maybe also crap underneath the keypad and million other things...:-(

no have to agree this is a very nice phone if it is working I had mine for 3days started zooming in and out ,sticky keys had it replaced for a new one ,same problem ,zooming ,sticky keys ,restarts Automatically,now it think Iam replacing it with samsung!Nokia really not so brilliant any more.

It is fast phone, with a fine display very suited for outdoor use. I in fact also like the design of the phone. AlsoI have a lot of applications installed, and never has breakdown, or slow typing. The signal sensivity (wlan & phone) is very good, much better than the HTC Diamond2 I had. The web-browser is is also far better than the one on the HTC Diamond2.

The best ever nokia phone.Nice handling and very fast + smooth operation.Internet wise..wooww..superb.!Nil zooming problem after removed the zooming slide sensor (once I brought home my new set..!)Just DIY.very simple and easy job..and there u're.You will love this phone..6710 Navigator.

Agree with all the negative feedback on this phone. Shocking design by Nokia. Auto-zoom on photos faulty, text messaging buttons stick and delay, viewing photos takes time....endless faults. So glad I have found this website. I sent the phone back 5 times, and finally Optus replaced with a new model. Now trying the E71. Been with Optus and Nokia for over 15 years now, so hope this one works!!

the worste mobile phone ever!!!!!!zooms in and out on its own..Sticky keys..And for this reason i will never buy a nokia again!!!Pathetic excuse for a phone

Worst nokia evr made.had mine 2 tymz sent bak to cel c.waitn 4 delivery of the 3rd.auto zoom in n out,stiky keys.strange works topz in mxit,bt certain other chat sites freez keys.must pres bowt 3 4 times.wen slide closd n lite of u move the fne the lite cum on.wat a rubish fne.cel c sez betr take it direct to nokia to fix coz their tecnitionz r useles.top features bt iratatn zoom n stiky keys.works topz first day then starts up faulty.nt sure bt wen i pt lot stuf on the memry card(2gig) then the problmz strat.duno if the zoom bar or memry card slot faulty.wish nokia wud take it al bk or fix the problmz

Browsing photos takes time and all messages are gone without deleting it... Stupid mobile!!!

This is the worst phone I have ever got. Faulty out of the box. WLAN would not stop scanning and flatened battery in only a few hours. Replaced within a few days, and replacment is faulty also. Will switch off, freeze and reboot without warning and not consistant. Was sent away 2 times to optus for repairs. Still not fixed. Sending back to nokia this time. Phone should be recalled, some people up to replacement 8 in 6 months. Great phone when it works (and mine now is completely dead).

i bought mine 4 mos ago in Saudi Arabia. Endless probs, autozoom never stops u cant navigate ur browser, keypad freezes when ur txting makes want to throw this fone away. avoid this fone now! Shame on you nokia. Im going back to sonyericsson.

Im having a problem with my navigation on this phone.When i put in my location it goes on for 2min and than it ask me to go online.Does this phone not have free life time navigation PLEASE HELP
