m4a ???
This is really a magnificent phone.
But - I have a problem playing songs I have bought in iTunes with the non-DRM'ed format .m4a, even though m4a is listed as as supported in the specs.
The player seems to recognize the tracks as playable and imports them to the library alright. But when playing a particular song the player skips to the next after a brief attempt. It looks like a bug. If I side-load my SD-card with the exact same tracks into other S60 devices there are no problems at all.
So:
6720c doesn't work!!!
N85 works
5800 works
5320 works
Anyone with similar experience???

Anonymous, 07 Mar 2010DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!! Got a new 6720 for xmas, has awsome... moreI think you bought a fake phone.. or the store where you got it from still sells defective units probably returned by others. It's still safe to get it from Nokia stores rather than any other shops.

Hey everyone.
Is there anyway that I could download maps to the phone memory rather than surfing the internet?
If there is, please tell me how. Thanks :)

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!! Got a new 6720 for xmas, has awsome features for a small candybar phone, it worked well for about 2 weeks, and it all ends there.
Phone turned off for no reason while playing a game. Turned phone back on, turned itself off again about 30mins later (with battery full charge), kept doing same thing all afternoon, next morning went to turn it on and nothing. Phone now useless. Every now and then it will turn on but all i get is a white screen.
Sent phone back to where it was bought hoping for a replacement, got phone back 6 weeks! later from hong kong and was told it was a firm wear problem which i recon was bullshit.
Worked fine for 2days and it all happened again, and now my 6720 is a paper weight.
So if there's anybody out there who'd like to spend $320 on a phone that only works for a couple of weeks, and then spend countless weeks trying to get it fixed. Then i'd suggest you get a Nokia 6720 Clasic from imobilephonex.com in Hong Kong.

i have owned this phone for 1 month the 6720 classic is the best symbian 3g smart phone all round performer money can buy. it has same basic specification of nokia n97 mini, apart from wi-fi, but much much better battery standby time, a lot lighter and fits in your pocket better, 2 people who saw my phone and owned n97 mini wanted to swap. the e-mail and gps are exceptional and it is the best carl zeiss camera 5mp i have seen, very fast 600mhz processor gives fast internet access,in my opinion as fast as new i-phone which also has 600mhz processor,n97 mini only 400 mhz, i really could not fault the music player or any feature of this phone, i spent a lot of time looking at these models and so should you, read all the reviews before buying. 6720 classic does not have wi-fi but i have unlimited internet and no home router so it was not important to me. build quality is good having a metal battery cover swung it for me, stands up well in daily use, sides do sometimes creak a bit but seem ok so far, battery is very good but like anything if you have loads of apps running and use it all day you will notice the battery running down. please dont respond if your offended by my comments on n97 mini or i-phone its just my opinion and i wont read them anyway. hope this helps. buy one its good.
