The latest firmware is 013.009. I updated to this firmware but wouldn't recommend it if you have to change product code - major problems with noice cancellation.. if it ain't broke, don't upgrade firmware.

Anyone know the release date of Nokia 6720's new firmware. I m having little problems with this. This version is 012.008.

Here is my update on my first review on 6720c
My unit now have a problem on its clock. Occationally is changing it self randomly, still no idea why.
the * and # key pad is sometimes hard to press whem i'm texting.
some minor software problems.
I just bought my 6720c this december so far here are my reviews.
I'm using 16gb sd card it works, I have 800+ song, some video, games and applications. at least I've used 45% of the card. The system is some what slow, log time, hang ups and I have trouble right now because my mp3 songs are not showing on music player even i refresh it. I think I have to re-format my sd card. Although it was written at the box it can use up to 8gb only gsmarena said it ok to use 16gb.
The unit is heavy, for me its good because its feels like solid to hold and it feels its not a toy. The problem is that the side grey rim is moving and it creates a creaking sound and its feels like it will going to loose any time. And I think on its weight when it accidentally drop, it will break to pieces.
I like the charging port lit up when charging and it turn off when its done. USB charging is also possible, but lid cover of the usb and card slot is somewhat delicate, on continues used rubber jointing the lid will eventually break. 3.5mm jack is nicely added.
stereo speaker is well design. Mounted to the left and right of the unit to appreciate the stereo effect.
Volume button big enough, but camera bottom is metallic color plated, and I have experienced on my previous nokia this will fade eventually.
themes effects are great. They add a talking theme its good but need more improvements.
end button also act as power button. I used to press and hold the end button when I end a call. On this unit I have to be careful because I will accidentally turn off the unit.
here are my biggest disappointment on this unit, phone memory is only 60mb+, the image and video gallery is developed, more option to organize your images and video. But simple thing is missing, you can not zoom your image you have to go to file manager if you want to zoom your it. Video recording is basic, and they put a very basic video editor. Why is that?, and there is no tv cable on the package.
Overall its a great unit but need more planning by nokia. I hope nokia release a software upgrade that will fix all this.

This is is just looks like 5320 XM i had except for the 5 MP Camera and low memory of 128MB. But it looks good but the weight is too heavy at 110g with no WIFI.

the phone nokia 6720 is simply great.if youre looking for a phone thats capable of doing alot of things other than high cost smartphones, then i recommend you to buy this one.the design and built is great as it is with its features.

When writting a new message, how can i select a contact from those that i've recently sent a sms ?
When i write a new message, i always have to go to the contact list to select the contact to send the message to, it's very stupid.

this phone is very comfortable phone device. it have good design, not too steady. the camera is average like another nokia 5 mp camera. it is not too something special beside the design...

why is that most of the time when i'm making a phone call a strange beeping sound is heard like somebody is backing a truck and the problem to be full sometimes after 3 beeps the phone is disconnected
please respond if somebody knows about this

then delete or move ur sim msgs into ur phone memory....

I bought this phone today. I live in Iran. before going to mobile shopping center, I had selected 5630 express music. it was difficult for me to select between 5630 an 6720
but when I take 6720 in my hand, I decided to buy 6720 surly. I recommend you to buy this phone. If you can live with out wifi and if you like gps much! :)

this phone is simply greater than any nseries i have yet used.
camera 5megapixel is not so sharp but the look of this set is beautifull.
i have this set from last week enjoying very well
