Nokia 6790 Mako is not camera shy, poses for a few shots
About a week ago, we wrote about four all new Nokias headed to the US. Now, one of them - the Nokia 6790 Mako - has posed for a few live shots. The Symbian-powered phone touts a slide-out QWERTY and GPS.
The Nokia Mako does 850/1900 HSDPA and has a secondary camera for video calls. Its multimedia capabilities include a 2.4" QVGA screen, Bluetooth with A2DP, a hot-swappable memory card plus it comes with MP3, WMA and AAC audio and H.263, H.264 and WMV video codecs out of the box.
It's a bit strange that Mako comes with a 2.5mm audio jack, given the ample media support. The camera of the Nokia 6790 Mako manages the unimpressive 2 megapixels. The phone also offers Cellular Video, which gives access to some TV content and Video Exchange.
Now, Boy Genius Report have a gallery of live shots up for your viewing pleasure. They weren't very impressed with the keyboard and screen but they didn't have a final device. Either way, the Nokia 6790 Mako is slated for a June 5th release, so things will clear up soon enough.
