Nokia 6 and Indian Nokia 8 to get Android Pie next week

The Nokia 8 received its Android Pie update back in December but users in India still haven't got the delicious piece of the desert. The wait is almost over though as Juho Sarvikas assured that the update is coming next week.

In addition, the company's CPO also announced that the update for the Nokia 6 will start rolling before MWC so again next week. And even if HMD Global misses the target next week, it's still in line with the roadmap that the manufacturer released a few weeks back.

Team is working hard to get it out next week. We are actually planning on having quite a lot of 🍰 before MWC but here's where you need to remember that we won't release if the quality is not there. Rest assured that we are on it and almost done

Juho Sarvikas warned that the updates could potentially be delayed if the developer team encounters serious bugs right before release. Here's hoping that it doesn't happen

Hi. Since I got the update to Android 9 I can`t receive phone calls. I can only make. Does anybody encounter this problem? I reset my phone to the original factory settings but the android 9 it`s still there and I still can`t receive phone calls. C...

Dam, and just thinking that the oneplus 5 and 5T already got Android Pie first week of 2019. That's something Android manufacters need to put to their heads, we need more updates, we ask 3 years major OS updates and 4 years security patches
